Use with a Philips Sonicare BrushSync compatible handle (DiamondClean Smart or ProtectiveClean) to unlock Smart features: BrushSync mode-pairing triggers your handle to select optimal mode and intensity level for exceptional plaque removal (certain models only); BrushSync replacement technology tracks how often and how hard you brush and will notify you when it is time to replace your brush head. After a few months the post gets loose and buzzes loudly without really moving the brush head. Warranty covered two replacements but the third brush brine down and warranty on the original is past date so I’m out of a working toothbrush. My wife’s white diamond clean was bought at the same time and works fine still.

It failed after 2-3 months. I got a replacement, which works fine so far, but needs to be charged every couple days. Yes the battery lasts for 2-3 days max.

The App is great for helping to focus on brushing. It does fail to detect its location sometimes which is disappointing. It would also be bice if you could add time to certain zones. The gum program is my favorite, but I wish i could add the front teeth to the second round as well. The app is supposed to track brush use and let you subscribe to automatically get new brushes. Function does not work at all. When i tey and turn it on nothing happens and it doesn't work. A company as large as Philips should be able to hire a competent app programmer.

I thought I would take the opportunity to upgrade when I could, and I did. The app that you can use with it on your phone or smart watch really isn’t helpful, aside from getting your timing in. And, while I understand why there are different brush heads for different areas, it’s very tedious to change them. I typically brush 6-8 minutes now as I like to get maximum benefits. With my old Sonic Care brush, I would just use the gum care and deep clean settings and basically brush for 4 minutes. Mouth and teeth felt cleaner with my old toothbrush and, apparently, I cannot return this one, or I would. Even my dentist said one doesn’t need all the bells and whistles. I agree. Not a fan

This head was recommended as one having soft bristles to minimize gum damage and so far seems to be good on the low speed setting.
