[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Phillips Sensitive toothbrushes are what my dentist recommended for my gums. They are just great! The blue line fades and indicates when it is time to change them out.

Older gums/teeth really appreciate the softer head

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dentist gave me my first soft toothbrush and I have been using them since. The Philips Sensitive toothbrush heads have probably saved me the pain and cost of dental issues caused by brushing my teeth too hard.

They are gentler on the gums

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My hygienist suggest I try them since they are soft and less irritating to the gums. She was right. I use the sensitive heads on the low vibration and this combination works so well with cleaning my teeth. I would never go back to using the other heads.

I was told by my dentist to get the soft brush heads, so I bought these. I wish they had more options- I find the deep cut in these to be a bit odd, like it misses most of the tooth, but it's the only option. I find it odd that all the other brush heads are medium, when most dentists recommend soft

Receding Gums After Months of Use

I thought these were working for me since I have sensitive teeth. Turns out these were causing gum receding! The bristles are too hard and are tough on the gums. I switched to the G2 gum care brush head and those are much softer.

Softest brush available for tendency for receding

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For people with receding gum problems. You want to use the softest brush. I think the Phillips sensitive brush is softer than their gum care brush. And for the problem of gums Phillips brush design, I think, is better than Oral-B.

Soft bristles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is rare to find an electric toothbrush with soft bristles. I was finding that the regular bristles were too firm and causing damage so this is very helpful and I've seen an improvement in my gums. I recommend for anyone with sensitive teeth or gum issues.

I have the Sonicare 4100 (target exclusive) of which I like the toothbrush for the price (will upgrade in the future). The C2 head that came stock has a smaller bristle surface area (which I prefer) but is too intense for my teeth and gums. I was worried different heads (which they clearly look different) would prevent the pressure sensor from working, but great news is THE PRESSURE SENSORS STILL WORK ! The inside where you attach the head seems not quite as long so I get a bit concerned shoving it onto the toothbrush .. it doesn't fit quite as seamlessly as the C2, but overall the switch to the sensitive heads is worth it and I'll only ever purchase these heads with all models I buy!
