Love it. Doesn't smear

Okay. Here's the thing. I don't normally write reviews but I felt compelled on this one. I was really impressed. This eyeliner does not budge or smear and I feel like they all do on my eyes, or get rubbed off and into my undereye. But it does something weird. It's almost as if it bled into my eyelashes and created a coating or buildup on my eyelashes. I hadn't wore mascara in quite awhile but it felt like my eyelashers were coated. Then it would not completely come off my lash line even with using waterproof makeup remover. I had to use my finger nail and scrap hard chucks of eyeliner out of the spaces between my eyelashes. Its disappointing because it did not bleed or smear.

Like the color and texture. Its a beautiful color but it only last about 6 hrs.

Literally the worst product ever. Ruined my eye makeup. Putting it on your waterline is a nightmare, it barely goes on and then it clumps, when you try to go over it to fix it it just takes it off and doesn’t re apply. Will be returning it asap. And for $12???? Stupid

I wanted to live this because the color is pretty and it really does go on smoothly. The issue is, the application is never the same as the first time because it's near impossible to sharpen. I tried a few different sharpeners. I will never buy this again.

I love this eyeliner’s pigment and application—I’ve bought a couple each of the plum, the sage gold, and the brown color and they are all beautiful. They go on so pigmented and easy—just glides on smoothly, similar to the Victoria Beckham liners. That is, the first couple of times you use them. I have thought I was doing something wrong with sharpening the pencils, because when you buy them, they are perfectly sharpened. After a couple applications, they of course are in need of sharpening. Either tip keeps breaking off whenever sharpening, the wooden pencil starts cracking and chipping, or both. If, somehow, you manage to sharpen it without either of those things happening, you have to use a q tip or something to carefully smooth over the newly freshened tip for a clean application. And even if you do accomplish that, you have to very cautiously use the like, because the chances of the tip clumping and/or breaking off is high. Again, I thought I had to be doing something wrong with the sharpening—I even bough a new sharpener and tried different techniques, etc. I finally feel validated seeing I’m not the only one with these issues in the reviews. It’s not me—it’s the pencils. I really prefer pencil liners, but perhaps this one might be better off in a retractable version? It’s such a shame because the colors are great and I love the product so much. I just wish I didn’t have to waste half of the pencil trying to sharpen it.

Goes on in clumps & is hard to clean off. It is also super soft so the pencil breaks easily.

Pros: Pigmentation Lasts all day and night No smudging! I wish I could love this eyeliner, but my sensitive eyes can’t stand it. Something in this eyeliner makes my eyes water and have a light sensitive feeling. I thought I was crazy at first, but after trying it multiple times, I can confirm I’m having a reaction from the eyeliner. I’m bummed because I loved it, otherwise.

This review is for the product as a lipliner, I have never used it as an eyeliner. But I am a gal who loves an unconventional lip color, black being my most worn. I have tried lots of different liners but always end up going back to my Pixi eyeliner as lipliner. Lasts forever, doesn't move until I take it off. The BlackBlue color is also one of my favorites for dark blue lipstick. If you like funky lipstick and are looking for a lipliner, try it!

This is my go to eyeliner pencil. It’s smooth and waterproof. Nothing like it. A bit pricey but who can put a price on beauty.

Sucks at sharpening. Tip did not nicely sharpen with a typical sharpener, as it stated. Color was nice and performed as i wanted. Doubtful ill get my moneys worth since the pencil is practically broken as it wont sharpen nicely.

I really wish this eyeliner would last longer than 3 business days. In all seriousness, for the price, you do not get much product. Also, what’s the point of the twisty green piece at the tip if twisting it doesn’t push up product? Makes no sense.

Let me start by saying that I’ve been a huge Pixi fan for years. I’ve bought so many of these eyeliners that black eyeliner has become a part of my identity. However, my eyes started stinging after I opened a new box of eyeliner a few months ago. I also noticed that my eyeliner wasn’t staying on as long as it used to… but I never had an issue with this product before (in probably close to 10 years) that ignored all the signs. I started the elimination test to figure out why my eyes were stinging - I stopped using my SPF, stopped using my moisturizer, stopped using my eye shadow and stopped using my eye primer. Unfortunately, my eyes were still stinging so I stopped using this eyeliner… and the stinging went away. Like I said, I’d been using this product for so long that I was in disbelief… so I started investigating a bit more and noticed that the packaging had changed from “waterproof” to “water resistant,” which made me suspect the formulation had also changed. It breaks my heart that I can’t use this eyeliner anymore between the stinging and the decrease in lasting power. (I also noticed that it got a bit flaky on my eyelids?) I hope that Pixi changes the formulation back so it’s back to the previous quality.

Great color, smooth application

I had really high hopes as I was told it wouldn't smudge. Unfortunately with in a very short period, it was on my top eye lid, and the bottom created raccoon eyes.

Goes on soft but does not smear or transfer to top lid. Good dark blue.
