Q: What's the difference between the glow tonic oad and the glow peel pads?

A: The glow tonic pad is just the Pixi Glow Tonic pre-soaked onto pads. It's a toner that you use daily. The glow peel pads are a treatment that's stronger and has to be rinsed off, like a face mask.

A: Mixing glycolic acid (found in Pixi's Glow Tonic To-Go pads) and retinol can cause irritation since they both cause cell turnover, especially if you have sensitive skin. If you do want to use both, we recommend switching off and using them on different days.

These pads works SO well. NOTE: I’ve been using similar chemical peel products for a few years so if you’re new to this, I recommend spacing use out to 2-3 times a week, not back to back. I use these nightly every day and I can tell a difference in the texture and tone of my skin in less than a week. For example, I tend to have a little bit of redness and with persistent use, the redness calms down and I can use less foundation in the morning. Plus, this helps the rest of my skin care absorb better because it’s eliminating the dead skin. After I wash my face, I rub the pad on my face and wait the recommended 2-3 mins. I rinse this off with cold water, put on my serum and follow with a moisturizer to seal it all in. Love love love. Highly recommend! Easy to work into simple 3-4 step night routine.

I use one cotton round after washing my face and then follow it with toner and moisturizer. Even after the first use I felt a noticeable difference when feeling my skin. I would definitely recommend this to someone so long as they don’t have super sensitive skin. Doesn’t really have a scent either which is nice because I’m picky about that stuff.

I was looking for toner pads to keep in my work bag for a mid workday wipe down! With having to wear masks all day due to COVID, I'm starting to breakout. I find that if I swipe these over my face when I take the mask off for lunch, and again when I get in my car after the day, I'm much less likely to breakout! The only downside is that it takes a bit of time to feel dry, and is a bit too fragranced if that's the kind of thing in a skincare product that bothers your eyes. Worth it for the cleared mask acne though!

I've been using the Glow Tonic To-Go pads for a couple of months and I've really seen an improvement in the texture and radiance of my skin. (For reference, I am 45 and have very, very oily skin with some enlarged pores and bumpy texture around my nose and cheeks.) The pads provide the perfect amount of product to cover my face and neck and are so easy to use. My only criticism would be that I don't love the fragrance, but the results are worth it!

I Absolutely love the results of Pixi Glow Tonic and the Retinol Tonic, but I found myself skipping this part of my skin care routine when I was busy or rushed. Having these pads on hand made it easier to stay consistent. Good skin care means NOTHING if you don't use it everyday, and on the Glow Tonic To-Go has made all the difference.
