If you are new to using an acid toner or Glycolic Acid, we suggest diluting the toner by wetting a cotton pad with a hydrating mist or a little water and then adding a few drops of Glow Tonic onto the cotton pad. Use Glow Tonic a few times per week and gradually increase use as needed while gradually diluting your toner less. After this period of introducing Glow Tonic, you can adjust the frequency of use based on your skin's needs. You may experience a slight tingling sensation which should lessen once the skin gets used to the toner. We always recommend using SPF in the daytime, especially when using a product with Glycolic Acid. Additionally, we recommend doing a patch test for sensitivity on the inner elbow if you have sensitive skin.
