This is a very poor design. The fact that the bottom edge rounds up means that it doesn't it into the corners of the litter box.

Doesnt get corners
Unless you have a round litter box this will drive you nuts. It can’t reach into the corners. My boy loves to pee in the mack corner of his box and this doesn’t work for that. Otherwise it’s cheap and durable so may be ok for you, but not good for me.

Epic fail
Whoever designed this scoop has obviously never owned a cat. The notched out edges renders the scoop useless when attempting to clean the corners of litterbox. I have to use a paper towel to clean the corners each time. Epic fail.

Excellent Scoop!
We just rescued our first cat and decided to purchase this scoop. It’s larger than I imagined and I’m thankful for that. I’ve used it several times now and it does a great job scooping out what’s needed and leaving excess litter behind. It’s sturdy and I don’t have to worry about it breaking while I scoop. I’m thankful for the Target brand items! We also purchased the litter box (with lid) and XL litter box liners. I highly recommend!

This “scoop” is very flat. Your hand practically slides across the top of the litter to use this as there is no arch to its shape. The holes are too big for delivering a fine sand as my kittens waste is not as defined as an adults cats. The corners of the scoop are not squared off which is okay, but they are also not 90 degrees to get into the corners of a square litter pan. Even for less than $2, wish I had bought a different “scoop”.

Terrible scoop for cat litter
Don’t buy, if you want to use it for cat litter. Did not notice the rounded corners. You can not clean the litter box since you can’t get in the corner because of the poor design. Practically makes the scoop worthless for cat litter.

I Like This For My Litter Genie Pan
I have many different litter pans all being very large. But I have one cat who loves the Litter Genie Pan which is an oblong circular high sided pan with two cutout handles. She digs and digs and by scraping the sides she makes this twang noise that I can even hear downstairs. She plays away digging in their daily. So I cannot deny her this fun activity so I have to keep at least one of this type for her. The other 3 cats use it too. I have several pans that they all use that are cleaned daily. Anyway although I usually use metal scoops I thought I would try this scoop for the circularish pan & it works pretty good getting those curves. I need one like this in metal. Cats rock.

You get what you pay for
I was overjoyed when I saw these were $1.99 as opposed to upwards of $8. I ordered a bunch of them and proceeded to use them. They are poorly-designed. They are flat at the front, so the clumps fall right out, where the more expensive ones are slightly cupped. They are adequate, but only that.
