A: Hi! The Polaris Arc Floor lamp can use a dimmable bulb. Unfortunately there is not a knob on this lamp for dimming. Thank you for your question.

Cord is way too long so the item won't assemble fully, after a hellscape of unpacking a very heavy base. Now Target wants me to mail it back to them, and I can't even lift it and had to destroy all the boxes to even get it unpacked. Missing tons of small parts, too. Do not recommend.

Love this lamp! We got it on sale making it a great value for the size. We moved in to a suburban home with a large living room so our smaller Target one from our townhome wasn’t lighting the space well enough and looked silly in the big space. This one is perfect for lighting the larger space! The only caveat is the on/off switch is on the cord to the base. We put a smart bulb in it to control from our phones so it didn’t matter to us, but could to others as our cord is behind our couch making it hard to access the switch.

The lamp is beautiful and very good quality, it was very easy to put together, took about 30 minutes. The arm of the lamp is very sturdy and reaches out about 4 ft. the shade is of good quality material and has a very nice under shade so your not staring up at the bulb. FYI, it does have a floor switch that you step on to turn it on. I keep the lamp in on position and have a Bluetooth bulb so I can control the brightness and color. If you're looking for a beautiful floor lamp, you can't go wrong with this one.

It looks much more expensive than it is. Has a lovely high arc which is exactly what I wanted. The base has 2 poles so it’s very sturdy and does not lean or bend as other arc lamps can.

Beautiful fixture. What a great feature to finish a room! It does not provide much light. It’s perfect for looking through magazines in the corner of our couch, but you would not want it as a main light source.
