Polite Society Greatest Lashes Of All Time Mascara - Ulta Beauty

I really wanted to like this mascara. It applies beautifully, layers great, and makes my lashes look amazing - for like 3 hours. Midway through the day my lashes have fallen from the morning (which I dont mind) but the mascara has formed a ring around my eyes giving me raccoon eyes. It does this whether or not I apply it to my bottom lashes. So if your mascara doesnt transfer ever I'd say its a four star mascara - but if it does I wouldn't recommend unless you know you're not going to be wearing it for long.

I'm in my 50s, so I have many decades of experience with mascara. I have used some expensive brands and liked them, but as prices went up, I tried other brands. Then I hit a problem with mascara, and it took a while to figure it out, but it's beeswax. A lot of mascaras contain beeswax, and I'm sensitive to it. So while I was waiting in line at Ulta, I saw this and the box specifically said "no beeswax." I had to have it....and I'm glad I bought it because this is the best mascara I've ever used. I love the brush! The bristles are not too long, and it goes on incredibly well--a few swipes on each eye, and I'm done. Barely any clumping--I don't ding a mascara for some clumping because they all do. This definitely lengthened and added volume to my lashes, which aren't terrible but they are light. I didn't realize I bought the travel size, but I'll definitely buy the full size next. I highly recommend this product. I never heard of this brand before...this was a great find for me!

while I don't disagree with any of the claims of this mascara, I can't recommend it because it does not last on me. I received a sample size in a gift with purchase. The brush IS a great shape and the formula is awesome. It's on the drier side, builds up fast, and looks AMAZING immediately post application. however, beware - you MUST thoroughly blot the tip on a tissue or you WILL get clumps since the neck of the tube doesn't wipe off excess product automatically. I hate having to do this because it wasted a lot of product and has a chance of introducing bacteria. Once blotted, the tip is useful to get in the corners and the bottom lashes. however (again) - this formula did not last on me. it flaked and smudged throughout the day. I work from home at a desk job so I wasn't doing anything strenuous or getting sweaty or touching my eyes a lot. I do have oily skin especially the eyelids so maybe that is a factor. I tried this multiple times over the course of a week. it also did not hold up to tears, especially on the bottom lashes. :'( maybe if they came out with a waterproof version I'd give it another shot. tl;Dr: Try it if you don't typically have issues with smudging, be sure to blot the wand first. Test drive it in a low stakes situation, like not your wedding day or important work meeting lol

The product its self has great benefits but it left CLUMPS of mascara on my lashes after just one swipe. Not for me and would not buy again.

I got a deluxe sample of this in a GWP. After trying it once I bought a larger size because I was blown away by how well it works. My lashes usually fall after a bit with mascara but this makes my lashes look AMAZING all day. Highly recommend!

This mascara is AMAZING! My go to was always Maneater by Tarte. This was a total impulse purchase while I was standing on line to check out; thought the brush looked like it would separate and define lashes. I was not disappointed! New go to!!

I'm very particular about mascara and the brush. Generally I purchase smaller travel type tubes; as this was on sale I decided to try it. So glad I did - the brush is awesome and no clumping. Will definitely buy again.

This product didn't affect my eyes at all as I'm allergic to many things. The problem I have is that lashes do not curl even when I try to curl it before applying the product.

I got a trial size of this and loved it, so I bought the full size, and it was terrible. There is barely any length or volume added. It is pretty much a lashes darkening product.

Honestly almost everything from this brand is amazing. I don't usually write reviews about mascara as I always have mixed feelings; but this one is definitely worth every penny. My lashes look great and I get so many compliments! No fall out at all

I really liked the product. I am 58 and don't have much for lashes these days, it worked great and just love it.

This mascara gives fluttery, lifted lashes with zero clumps. The brush separates beautifully, and it layers well without flaking or smudging. It gives that fresh, wide-eyed look — perfect for everyday wear but easy to build for more drama. My lashes felt soft, not crunchy, which is always a plus.

Bought this on a whim, but had hugh hopes that it would hold up to the reviews. Literally the WORST mascara I have ever used! My lashes clumped together looking like tarantula legs and then started flaking off within an hour after application. All day long the clumps were falling in my eyes. Immediately went in the garbage when I got home after work.

This product goes on great, no clumping, separates the lashes beautifully, but by mid-day it's already smudging.

Thank you so much for not false advertising. This stuff is literally the greatest of all time the goat in mascara I only had to apply two coats and my lashes are massive.

this mascara made my lashes look really pretty but it doesnt stand the test of time. it does not smear, but it does flake.

I really really like this product, it's really black and gives me a lot of volume but the only thing I would change Is making it so it doesn't flake as easy. Otherwise it's amazing!

I received this travel size in a bonus package and then a second one I purchased. Both applied smoothly but looked thin on my lashes, a barely there coverage. WhenI tried to build with a second application, it started clumping on my lashes. Then I noticed that the mascara became flaky after five or six hours. I thought the problem was that the freebie was old, so I tried the purchased one. Nope, it was the product. This mascara is not for me.
