I got the Tortoiseshell grip and it’s giving librarian, it’s giving 60s secretary, it’s such a killer design!! My one complaint is that the super glossy base got scuffed up in my Popsocket Phone Mount for my car immediatelyy. I lovee collecting popsockets though and this is my FIRST MagSafe popsocket, so it just means my next one won’t have a glossy finish lol

Does what it's supposed to do
This is a replacement for an identical grip purchased last year to match my tortoise Kate Spade case. Good match. (It somehow broke off on a flight. ) I have a whiteish/transparent grip that collapses when I try to use it as a stand. This style works perfectly. Maybe the solid color is stronger? Anyway, happy with purchase.

Cheap. Broke less than a week
It’s absolutely beautiful and HEAVY but the gold magsafe one didn’t even last a week before the rubber part began tearing apart from the magnetic part. Pop sockets used to last and used to be more durable. The quality of the rubber on the tops has decreased significantly.

Good but paint fades fast!
I got this popsocket about a mouth ago and the paint on the sides is already fading. The other problem was that the whole popsocket came off the little part that screws it into the blue part (this is so you can replace or change out the different popsockets), but it fully came off (which isn't suppose to happen), and getting it back on this small attachment scrached the whole inside of the popsocket. I think it is a great product and does its job, but for 35 dollars, I wish the paint didn't start coming off so fast. If you are thinking about getting one, get one that is shiny and not this matte finish; that way the paint won't start fading.
