This lamp is the perfect touch to our room!
We just received and assembled this gorgeous gold and black torchiere lamp- perfect for the mid-century/art deco theme of our beautiful finished basement with home theatre. We are in the process of designing the room and this lamp is a welcome addition to our home. It was packed with great care. It had no scratches, no dents, and looks just like the photo. There were no tools needed to assemble it. Be careful prior to screwing the pieces together (you need to carefully, slowly pull the wire from the base and make sure to keep it flat on the floor.) You must take your time when screwing the pieces together because the threads are very fine, so you need to line them up perfectly otherwise, it will be a problem. I recommend one person holds it straight while standing above the person who will then screw it together slowly and carefully. It has a good weighted bottom to sit on a carpet or floor- very sturdy. The cord is black (not clear) along with dimmer box. Styrofoam will break away and can get everywhere but if you are careful you can contain the mess. It does not come with a bulb- my wife and I used a 90 watt, LED that dims. I would highly recommend this lamp! I hope you love yours as much as we do ours. I took a photo of one section of our huge basement.

Dimmer Switch Problem
This lamp is very pretty and a nice weight also. The only thing is that the lamp turns on at the beginning but the longer it's on, the dimmer it gets. We ordered the lightbulb from Lamps Plus that was suggested and we originally thought it was the problem. However, the lamps dims slowly on its on even with the new bulb. Not sure what to do about it as it was purchased on August 30, 2023 and it started having this problem after about 3 months.

Beautiful Lamp, Frustrating Experience
It's a beautiful lamp. However the lamp I received was obviously previously owned, has threads stripped putting it together, and the bulb flickers like a strobe. After I see how the return process goes I'll come back and revise this review.

Gorgeous floor lamp
Love this lamp. It is especially easy to turn on and off with the foot pedal and also allows dimming. It is very stylish in the room and goes very well with the ceiling fan that I choose. Box was packed very well and lamp had no scratches. I would buy again!

Total garbage! Have assembled so many lamps and this is the first time I see such a low quality product. The threads are so bad I couldn’t even screw the two pieces into each other. Will be returning it.

Gold color leans orange
Wanted to love these lamps. Ordered two. Unfortunately, the gold has an orange tint and as such it just doesn’t work with our space. As always - pay attention to measurements as well. It’s bulkier than I needed.
