I bought it to replace my other torchier floor lamp. Always wanted this one but hasitated because of price. I decided finally to go for it and do not regret. Unusual way of going from one lamp to to two or three. Love this torchier floor lamp.

This is a wonderful lamp for rooms with no ceiling light. So bright. I hate dim lighting. You can’t see what your doing, the color of your clothing or much of anything else with lesser lamps. Well worth the price. Looks nice too.

This is a high quality torchiere lamp. Many years ago I purchased an inexpensive torchiere lamp from Home Depot. This was back when it was legal to sell a floor lamp with a 300 watt tubular halogen bulb. Of course, people would replace the 300 watt bulb with a 500 watt bulb for extra brightness and this resulted in several fires if the lamp was knocked over so they were eventually banned. I never had a problem with mine, but when it finally broke I couldn't find one that was nearly as bright. Then I found this lamp that has four standard sockets and comes with LED bulbs. It is well made and I made it even better by replacing the LED bulbs with Phillips 27 watt LED bulbs. (150 watt equivalent) Now, it uses only 108 watts and produces 600 watts of light!! Even brighter than the 500 watt halogen! It lights up the whole room. I would recommend this lamp in any case and if you replace the LED bulbs as I did it'll be even better.

This lamp is very substantial -- it stays put and is resistant to getting knocked over. That was important because a knock-down ruined the lamp it replaced. Very high quality including on/off switch on floor and 4 position post switch -- off; 1 LED, 3 LEDs, or 4 LEDs. At full brightness, it uses under 100 watts of electricity and is amazing in a large or valued room. Easy to assemble, well-packed, arrived quickly. Very reasonable price for a lamp of this quality and capability.
