Great lamp. Lights up most of a medium-size room, 3/4 of a large room. So bright (which is a good thing in my view), I use a dimmer at night but full on to light my whole bedroom.

They are beautiful and super sturdy. They also give off great light. They have changed the atmosphere of two rooms in my home. If you really like to the look of these lamps--get them! You will not be disappointed!

Screwing the bottom part of the post to the base gave us some trouble, since it seemed to be getting screwed on crooked - but you just need to keep rotating and it falls into place. Minor adjustments are needed for it to stand vertical to the floor, and while felt pads come with the lamp in order to make such minor adjustments, we ended using a folded piece of cardboard that worked a bit better on carpet.
