Here's why: Designed for Specific Controllers: PowerA charging bases for Nintendo Switch are typically designed to charge specific types of controllers, primarily the Joy-Cons and the Pro Controller. These controllers have designated charging rails or ports that align with the charging base. NSO NES Controller Charging: The Nintendo Switch Online NES controllers are charged via a USB-C port located on the top of each controller. They do not use the same rail or port system as the Joy-Cons or Pro Controller. I bought this product to have an easy, just drop it down location to charge my pro controller. After it ran the first charge, the Pro Controller would not work. It will now not work with any charging cable. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT AS IT WILL BREAK YOUR CONTROLLERS. I am now out $100 bucks (21 for this and 79 for the pro controller).

This charging dock is perfect if you have 4 joy-cons & a wireless controller for the Nintendo Switch. While my main Switch controllers are on the consol itself, I like being able to quickly charge my extra controllers in case others come over to play. The dock itself is pretty small and plugs in via USB to the Switch dock. It comes with the USB-C and stores on the bottom of the charge station. The magnet to hold the USB-C is very strong like others have mentioned in their reviews. Overall this charging dock is great & for the price it is hard to beat. Also, if you're not sure about the brand PowerA, Nintendo also sells this brand direct from their website which is another reason I chose to purchase.

It charges drained joycons pretty fast and the charging base is very easy to use. The only improvement Id suggest that I'd feel would improve the product and make it more user friendly would be to have a taller slide in attachment for the joycons for a more stable hold. Overall I would definatly recommend it to friends, family, and other gamers.

I like the set up it looks really cool when you put multiple controllers in. My favorite part is the changing magnetic dongle that goes into the bottom of the controller and it makes it super easy and convenient because you don't have to line anything up or worry about the charger falling out mid charge. It is very well made and quality but also very simply designed. I would definitely purchase it again.

Works with a fast charge plug if you are in a hurry to game on. It is compact so doesn't take a lot of space on your entertainment area.
