Does not wake up the switch 2
I regret buying this controller because it doesn't turn on the switch 2 from sleep mode. Insane that such a basic and necessary feature isn't included.

The responsiveness is excellent—inputs feel quick and accurate, and it performs really well during gameplay with no noticeable lag. The build is comfortable and feels familiar, similar to older controller designs, which made it easy to jump right in. Setup was quick and simple, and I was pleasantly surprised that it also works with the regular Nintendo Switch, not just the Switch 2. The ergonomics are solid; it fits well in the hands and stays comfortable even during longer play sessions. Buyer Beware
This controller was bought for me for Christmas, thinking it was a Nintendo Controller. This is the biggest waste of money. Unable to return, since we don't have the receipt or packaging. I am using it for the first time with Mario Odyssey and it does not vibrate. And I'm unable to wake up the Switch.

Hi! The controller does not support waking the Nintendo Switch from sleep mode, and it also does not include vibration functionality. This is a limitation of the controller and not a defect. Feels good and natural! Love the paddles!

Maybe just need to get used to the differences
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you Influenster for giving me the opportunity to try this wireless controller. At first it was nice with the mappable buttons on the back and the grips on the back and thumb sticks. The mappable buttons make it real convenient when switching consoles. However when playing I was not a fan of the buttons on the bottom. When playing fast paced games requiring reflex response, buttons not being in their usual location can be an issue. Not only that but even if you do get used to the buttons being on the bottom, they are so small and close together it becomes too easy to fat finger and press the wrong ones. It's a nice controller but not for me. 3 out of 5 is what I'd say it is.

Well made controller and the feedback is so fast

I got this because it had a nintendo logo and said for switch 2 the box made this look like it was 100% a nintendo product and not a 3rd party not completely functional with nintendo it 100% looked like a Pokémon pro controller upgrade. I love this controller way more than my switch 2 pro controller but this is not a switch 2 controller because no matter how good this feels in my hand it does not wake up the sw2 there needs to be a firmware update to make this work with the sw2. Until this can wake up the sw2 this is 100% false advertising.price needs to be $20 and sold as a after market controller and on the box it should say you need to also buy a nintendo switch 2 pro controller to make this work. Fix the wake up problem and this is 100 times a 5 star controller i'm more mad about the false advertising that it's advertised and boxed in a nintendo switch 2 box it truly is a beautiful controller fix this and this will be my go to switch controller

Received this PowerA Super Mario wireless controller for my kids’ Nintendo Switch, and it’s been a big hit in our house. The design is bright and fun, and my kids were instantly obsessed. Setup was super easy — it connected right away with no fuss (which is a win for me because I’m not trying to troubleshoot on a school night 😅). It feels sturdy, the buttons are responsive, and it’s held up great through some very “enthusiastic” gameplay sessions. Packaging arrived perfect and everything inside was brand new — the box you see is just from me opening it.
