Despite the lack of official support, the controller is a standard USB device, meaning it often has some level of "plug-and-play" functionality on Windows. Windows may detect it as a generic gamepad. Platforms like Steam often have robust controller mapping tools (like Steam Input) that can force the controller to function. You would likely have to manually map the buttons, including the Advanced Gaming Buttons (back paddles) and the "C Button" (for GameChat). Some features will likely not work properly on PC such as: Motion Controls (Gyro): Typically, this feature is lost on PC. HD Rumble/Vibration: The complex vibration features may not be recognized or function correctly. Great for what it does
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The buttons are super responsive, the D-pad feels tight (in a good way), and the analog sticks have just the right amount of resistance for precision in games like Mario Kart Nexus and Zelda: Echoes of Time. It doesn’t have HD rumble or wireless connectivity, obviously, but the long braided cable is durable and gives you plenty of room to move around. Plus, it’s lightweight, so your hands don’t cramp up during long sessions. Only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the turbo button is easy to press by accident, which messed me up in Smash Ultimate 2.

Very nice design and easy to use

I love Mario, so I’m obsessed with the look. The cable to connect it to the switch it’s very long, and just easy overall, literally just plug it to the dock and it works. The controller is very light and comfortable. It reminds me of when I used to play Nintendo 64 probably million years ago haha. Love the controller and love Nintendo! I would absolutely recommend it.

Lightweight wired controller
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from PowerA and Influenster in exchange for my honest review. This controller is meant for the Switch 2 but it is compatible with the first Switch, which is great. It comes with the connector cable. It’s comfortable in your hand and since it’s wired, does not need to be charged, nor need batteries. The only downside is if you have a really large TV, you might need to be sitting closer to it than normal in order for the cable to reach. Regardless, the buttons feel “light” and easy to press so playing on it was easy.

Fun to use for both Switch 1 & 2
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was such a fun controller to use. Very light weight and easy to hold and use. I love how long the wire is, because it means I can be in bed and use it. I also love that it's compatible with not only The Switch 2 but the 1 as well. That being said, I don't like that the home and various option buttons are at the bottom of the controller, it takes a bit to get used to. It runs smoothly however and I love using this, as well as my son.

Does the job
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Disclaimer: this is written from my son’s perspective as I am not a regular gamer. This is a fairly average switch controller. Well summit people may prefer the ability to recharge the controller, I find it frustrating that it doesn’t also have a regular battery option so that I could switch it out if I wanted to charge mid game. Well, there are a lot of buttons available, they are not positioned in a way that feels natural or easy to use. The controller has features similar to an Xbox controller, but I prefer the Xbox over the switch.

So holding it for a long time has no stress on your hands. It is a great controller it’s compatible with most not juts the switch2. I love how the buttons are placed . It works very well. Amazing controller and works for a variety of swit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This controller is fantastic! Buttons are super responsive and clicks. There is no lag between the controller and the console even with its extremely long cord. I was worried about the cord being too short since it is not wireless but Its 6ft and is plenty long enough to reach my switch 2 dock and still allow me to sit on the couch comfortably. This is also compatible with the switch 1 according to the box so those who have multiple systems will love that it switches between them. The buttons on the bottom are fully able to be set to whatever you'd like them to be providing a customization most controllers don't have. I never knew what I was missing by not playing on controller until now and I think my gaming has actually gotten better because of it. If your looking for a controller for your switch or switch 2 you won't be disappointed in this one at all. Fantastic grip, buttons aren't laid out in hard to reach spots, customization to work how you want and the super long cord. The only thing that would make this better is if it was wireless and didn't need to be plugged in, but even with it its amazing!

Super comfortable to use

The cord is long enough that they can sit comfortably in a chair to play and not right in front of the tv. My husband said it reminds him of the N64 controllers of our youth! We will purchase another as both kids want to use it for Mario Kart! Works great!
