Q: Does this bridge arch insole as well as all Powerstep insoles, have the stiff base like the original powerstep. If not, can you tell me which ones has the stiff base. Doc says to look for that.
A: Thank you for your question, and we’re glad to hear you're considering PowerStep for your orthotic support needs! Yes, the PowerStep Bridge insole—as well as many of our original PowerStep insoles—features a firm yet flexible arch support base designed to deliver the structure and stability. If your doctor specifically recommended a stiffer base, we would suggest looking into the PowerStep Original, PowerStep Pinnacle, or PowerStep Pinnacle Maxx. These models include our signature semi-rigid support shell, which provides firm arch support and control—ideal for those needing a more structured insole.

Q: Is this insole great for Posterior tandontis and accessory solos?
A: Hi, thank you for your question! PowerStep bridge is excellent for comfort, light support, walking/standing, but not ideal for tendon offloading. PowerStep Pinnacle would be better suited to managing posterior tibial tendonitis with structured support.

Q: Can the inserts be cut to fit?
A: Hi minn87! Thank you for you question. Yes, the insoles can be trimmed to fit. For best fit, remove existing insole from shoe and insert PowerStep bridge insole. Using the original insole as a guide, trim bridge insole to desired fit. Position the bridge insole against the back of shoe, holding it in place as you slide in your foot.
