DON'T DO IT! This is the worst turkey you could ever buy. I've cooked turkey the same way for years and something is off with this turkey. My method NEVER fails. Trust me, stick with Butterball.

Great turkey!

Chewy tough meat
This turkey, once fully cooked, was chewy and stringy. I’ve made many turkeys before and none have had the outcome such as this. A family member who also purchased around the same time also complained of this. I don’t keep where these birds came from or what they were fed for market, but I’m highly disappointed in the quality.

Turkey
Turkey was advertised as 79 cents a pound and it was marked 99 cents a pound. Only I didn't noticed it until I got home. So I was charged somewhat more for the turkey. 🤷🏻♀️

Great choice for a great price
The price is the cheapest you’ll find. The flavoring was great! My parents told me it was a waste of money because it wasn’t butterball, but after they tried it, they were completely shocked on delicious it was, especially because of the price.

Juicy & fresh tasting
At first, I was hesitant to try this brand for a turkey because I am usually one who buys butterball I purchased this turkey along with five turkey breasts. I could not have been happier. It is the most juicy succulent meat that you will ever taste. I put it on 350 and let it roast for 6 to 7 hours depending on your size. I just melted butter and poured it over the top the turkey breast also come with gravy you could not get any better for $.79 a pound. It was over-the-top delicious. I don't give it five stars I give it 100.

Its a good turkey for a good price!
I genuinely think you guys can’t cook because I had this turkey for thanksgiving this year and it was pretty great. I put butter inside the skin and let it dry brine with seasonings and herbs (NOT JUST SALT AND PEPPER) for a few hours. baked on a low temp for a few hours and it was tender and juicy.

Thought I'd try and give it a try. Wrong move. Should have stuck with name brand. Tasted like it was made in bio lab, no taste and mushy. Couldn't even cut it properly, it shredded and I have made many turkeys. Pass on this will not buy again.

The worst turkey I've had in 40 years
I have been cooking turkeys on the grill for 40 years. It is a family tradition for Mother’s Day. This turkey was the worst piece of meat I have ever had. The turkey turn black on the outside and the meat tasted like wood. I have never been so mad. I almost threw it in the garbage and ordered pizza. I will stick with Norbest or butterball from now on.

Was kind of tough and gummy and not much flaor. Nobody ate much of it and didn't bother saving the leftovers, which is usually a huge perk of holidays. Worst part was the inside was stuffed with a neck piece that was longer than the turkey and a PLASTIC BAG FILLED WITH WATER so it wasn't really the price per pund advertised when you end up throwing those away ayway.

Second year buying a turkey from Target for Thanksgiving/Christmas. It turned out awesome! We let it thaw in the fridge for 4 days and then add butter, olive oil, lemon, onions, celery and rosemary under the skin and inside the cavity. Can't say how the gravy package is because I make my own from the drippings of the basted turkey. Baste it every 30 to 45 minutes while cooking and it is so yummy!! We'll be back next year!
