Unfortunately this broke me out badly. I’m so sad because I loved how hydrating it was despite the salicylic acid, which I need for acne. My skin is pretty prone to acne, so if you aren’t, I would definitely recommend this cleanser. It’s so thick and hydrating!

Has a great slip and great for a 2nd step cleanser. However, this is too harsh for around my eyes.

I purchased the original gleanser for myself and loved it so much, I immediately purchased this version for both my teen boys. It’s incredibly gentle and hydrating while also helping to fight their acne. My oldest has some acne and rosacea which make it difficult and irritating to use most acne treatments. This is perfect for him.

Not for me. It’s not as hydrating as the original gleanser and I don’t see much of a diffierence with the salicyclic acid added. I’m have oily non-acne prone skin, I think it’s be better for other skin types

I absolutely love this face cleanser. I loved it so much that I bought 3 additional Prequel products. I love that target carries this brand! My skin never feels dry or tight and you only have to use a tiny bit. Totally worth the price.

I personally liked the texture. It felt like rubbing silk on your face. I found it hydrating but it didn't cleanse my face and also clogged my pores. I started breaking out and had to stop using it.

I am a guy with sensitive, acne prone skin. I purchased this as a body wash, and have been pleasantly surprised by the results. My skin is oily in the summer, and the older I get can become quite dry in the winter. I live in NYC and the dry heat that is every apartment building here dries my skin out dramatically. It's difficult to find a body wash that is not drying but also not occlusive or comedogenic. This wash leaves my skin feeling hydrated but not overly so; it lathers and cleans well, and is pleasant to use. Knock on wood, it does not break me out, either (but I have been using for less than a month). I am impressed.

This is a fantastic, gentle moisturizer that still manages to remove all my makeup. This cleanser is non stripping but still leaves skin feeling thoroughly clean. This is my new go-to.

I've been using this for the last four months. I've had back acne since my early twenties (now in my mid thirties). Using this plus Prequels glycolic acid has completely changed my back acne. (FYI when I do apply glycolic acid I use the gleanser without SA instead, I do not use both products on top of each other) Breakouts are less frequent, less painful, and the cysts don't last as long. Mind you I haven't ever invested in the most expensive products in the past. Anything topical from the dermatologist never worked. Certain oral medications did work but I could never take them for an extended period of time. Is my acne completely gone? No, but I think for the price, size and the results it's totally worth a try. I will continue to use the duo moving forward.

I bought this as a new replacement for my after gym bodywash (Lume/ Naturium energizer) and I have to say its been amazing to add to my roster and the hydration adds a punch too.

I've been using this face wash for about two months now and it hasn't worked at all for me. The texture is off. I know it's stated that this is an exfoliating face wash, but it's almost like it's too slimy to turn into an exfoliate. It never makes my face feel like it's actually getting clean, and it really isn't...after I wash my face, it's like the product doesn't fully come off. I've been breaking out so bad since I started using this product.

So the product is excellent. I have another SA product that clears my acne but is so drying on the face and this clears my acne and keeps it clear from any bumps and keeps it soft and moisturized! It’s a big win. My only conplaint is the packaging: a full pump wastes so much product so you have to be very careful and press it down gently so only some product comes out.
