An oil based, first cleanse formulated with cica oil, linoleic acid, linolenic acid, rice bran oil and gentle surfactants that dissolve makeup, excess sebum, sunscreen and other impurities without clogging pores or stripping the skin. This formula rinses clean and is suitable for all skin types, even those with acneic skin.
To Use: Dispense into dry hands and massage onto dry skin and eyes to dissolve makeup and impurities. Add water to emulsify and rinse thoroughly. Follow with second cleanse.

LOVE! This is my first oil cleanser and I don’t feel the need to try any others. It’s softening but not greasy and. Great value. I use the gleanser after and they have changed my skin for the better. Prequel is so good.

At first it seemed like a good product. Never broke out, or anything. Recently I noticed my pores on my cheeks, that weren’t even noticeable are now huge!!! Discontinuing use. Super upset, because you can’t shrink pores. Wouldn’t recommend.

3.5 stars for me, rounded up because objectively it's a good product. I had two issues with it: one, it's too runny for me. It is light and washes off entirely, it doesn't leave the skin greasy at all, so it might be perfect for someone else. I just prefer the buttery feel of my cleansing balm. Two, I noticed small white bumps when using it, and they went away when I removed it from my routine. Again, that's not going to be everyone's experience obviously, we all react differently to different products. Overall it's a good cleanser and will be a perfect match for someone else.

I purchased this product on May 2, 2025. It was working good until on May 8, I noticed I had little bumps on my face. At first I thought it was normal. But, then on May 10, it broke me out even more. I was really excited to add this pre-cleanse to my routine but sadly it didn’t work on me. If you have sensitive skin don’t get this. Disappointed

I wanted to love this but after using it one time my face was covered in little red splotches so I won’t be using it again. While I like the idea of an oil cleanser because I am acne prone, this one doesn’t work for me.

It changed my skin texture after just the first use! I've never felt my skin this soft, and the sebum in my nose is looking much better. Of course, I need to test it for at least a few weeks to make sure it doesn't cause breakouts, but I'm astonished by this product. Love it!

I love this oil cleanser so much I have used up two bottles already and I am planning to continue purchasing it. I had also recommended the oil cleaner to my sister and she fell in love with it. This cleanser does not leave a film on your skin when you wash it off with water like other oil cleansers, which is why my sister now uses this oil cleanser from Prequel

I love a lot of Prequel products but this isn't one of them. I normally use DHC oil cleanser, which is wonderful, but I thought I would try this. It doesn't hold a candle to DHC. It feels watered down and I never felt like my sunscreen was coming off.

Best oil cleanser ever!!! Ingredients are simple, safe, and minimal. This does not irritate my acne prone skin, it actually helps clean it thoroughly but gently which helps with preventing acne. This is also sensitive skin friendly, it does not irritate my skin. I also love the price of this cleanser!

This product is really good. I have used balms - high-end and low-end. I’ve used liquids oil cleansers, too, and this is as nice as it gets. I will repurchase. It’s as good as anything I’ve used. It has zero fragrance if that matters and it feels so nice. Works well. I love the punk and not digging into a jar.
