Q: I get pretty litter every month. Did the quantity gone down? A bag of pretty litter usually last me a full month no problem. I just bought a new bag one week ago and it’s almost done.. Did they reduced the size of the bag?

Just to confirm, the size of our PrettyLitter bags hasn’t changed—our non-clumping subscription bags are 6 lbs, retail bags are 8 lbs, and the clumping version is still 10 lbs. Q: Can this litter clump be flushed down the toilet? Is it safe for pipes and sewer system?

A: Hi, AWM! Good question! We recommend against flushing PrettyLitter because feline feces can contain toxoplasmosis, a parasite that can be harmful to marine life. If you live near water, it's definitely something to keep in mind. The concern is really with the feces, not the litter itself. As for the litter, if you have a septic tank, it depends on how well your tank handles other litters. If you've flushed other types of litter into your septic system in the past without issues, PrettyLitter should work just as well. While the odor is great as well as the color feature, It tracks throughout the house a lot. Due to this issue, I now have to vacuum the room daily and will have to cancel my subscription and send back the other two bags of litter.

I'm very happy with the litter, "Minou" all 15yrs of her uses it without hesitation which makes cleaning up after her, easy. The bonus is being able to monitor her health.

I have tried so many litter brands claiming, no smell, no tracking on the floor, etc. this litter is by far the best. You would never know I had a cat! I cannot stand the smell of litter itself or what is in it. It has ZERO scent like that. No smell, and when they came out with the clumping formula it was even better!!! It allows you to scoop everything out. One litter bag lasts my single cat 3 weeks. My cat does track it a little bit outside the litter box but not far. I would rather sweep it up before ever smelling nasty litter with other brands. Get it. You won’t regret!

This is my first time having cats so I bought a few different types of little and this so far is my favorite. It seems the best at not smelling. But more importantly for me, the little doesnt spread all over and track n stick to the kittens paws. Its nice too being able to see the colors to make sure the kitties are healthy

Best litter I’ve ever bought. Definitely more expensive but it’s worth every penny to me. Low/no dust, crystals do track a bit but are much easier to clean, odor control is 10/10 especially compared to the non clumping formula. I tried cheaper other crystal brands and will never go back.

One of the most annoying cat litters I have ever bought. The clumping never worked better than any other litter I bought, and the long-lasting was a scam as I had to replace the whole box of litter every two days, and it got everywhere. The only positive aspect of it was the minor odor control it provided, as well as the colors that indicated the health status of my cats.

This litter does not control odor and it tends to get tracked out of the litter box. Along with the cost, those are the cons. The pros are it is not messy and dusty like clay and it does not get caked into their paws, so I can live with vacuuming the tracked litter vs cleaning it out of their paws. All of our cats seem to like it and it is visually more appealing than clay. The biggest reason we use it is to monitor their doo-doos and wee-wees for health reasons.
