BDL220S Nice for the price. THREE errors in the description on the retailers website: Advertised as self leveling, it is not. Advertised that it can be used as a regular level. Manual says NOT to be used as a spirit level. And, it comes with a protective case. It does NOT.

B&D may market this item as "self-leveling" but that is simply not true. It's essentially a traditional bubble level with a laser pointer. You must turn the device *manually* until the bubbles indicate a level or perpendicular orientation. True self-leveling laser levels have an internal pendulum mechanism that allows the laser to float freely at level within the case; they also include a locking mechanism to override the self-leveling feature and allow use at any angle (like this unit). All that being said, this looks like a useful tool, especially at the price; but calling it self-leveling is deceptive.

Not really a level. Just a straight line you can project on a VERTICAL surface Uselss to check if pool table is level.

A handy product, useful for simple aligning purposes, wished it has some measuring capability.

I'm glad I bought it. It's a good buy but I wish the laser would go around corners further so i don't have to continue to put holes in my walls
