Like many, I grew up with my mom using a salad spinner, but never got one for myself because of kitchen space constraints. I finally buckled down and purchased one, did my research ahead and this one is a very good one, sturdy, easy to use. I wish the knob would "lock" down into place so you could store the whole unit in the refrigerator if you want to just leave lettuce in it, but otherwise 5/5 Gold stars.

I am so glad I bought this salad spinner. The spinner is a heavy plastic and feels solid. It stays put while it's spinning and sometimes, depending on the types/amounts of vegetables being dried, it may wobble but never has moved out of the spot I put it. The colander and bowls are larger sized and easily fit several hearts of romaine, celery, English cucumbers and other veggies. I have loved, loved how dry the veggies come out after a few spins so the dressing sticks much better. I believe this item is well worth the money. I use mine at least 2x a day and put it on the top rack of the dishwasher.

I bought this to wash my produce and it works great! I put my blueberries and strawberries in it with water and vinegar and spin them around a bit and it works so well! The water left in the bowl is always filthy afterward it's probably the cleanest our produce has ever been! It was easy to put together and the size is good, I can fit two pounds of strawberries in at a time. It's held up well so far. The plastic is solid and not flimsy.

Works exactly as advertised. We wore out a spinner after ten years and replaced it with this.Good size. Soak or rinse greens in the large bowl. Then pour it all through the basket to strain. Then put the strainer in the bowl and spin. It's not perfect drying -- no salad spinner does that -- but it gets out most of the surface liquid. If you need dryer than that, spin the greens and then wrap gently in a kitchen towel.Hope this helps.

Little tricky to get the hang of it!
I wanted a good salad spinner, and this definitely delivered. While the push mechanics it's kinda simple, the internal bit that sits in the middle of the spinner takes so much space! The base is also quite slippery, but putting a kitchen towel underneath solves it.
