Q: Is the back of this Terrarium made from MDF or something thin/similar? I dont want to purchase for hamster unless the back is made of the same material as the rest of the unit to aviod chewing thru.

A: The back panel is made of the exact same material as the entire frame of the terrarium. Q: Does this have a way to lock it?

A: This reptile enclosure does not come with a lock, but rest assured—small pets typically don’t have the strength to push open its glass door.
