    May not be good for learning

    I wanted to love this bike. It looks great, seems like good quality, love the dual breaking system. My son was so excited to get this bike for Christmas. He started on a stride bike before the age of 2 (he turned 4 in December), so I thought it would be an easy transition. It fit him awkwardly despite following the measurements. His knees were up in his chest and he couldn’t pedal great. When I raised the seat so he wasn’t so awkward, he could only touch on his very tip toes, making him feel insecure. You can tell from the pictures the child needs to lean forward more like a mtn or road bike compared to a cruiser or box type bike. This may be great if your child already knows how to ride a bike and isn’t just learning. The training wheels also become loose easily. I tightened it with a wrench, and had 2 other people tighten it with a wrench as well. We went for a 2.5 mile bike ride and he lost a training wheel despite me tightening it by hand half way through. He swerved into oncoming cyclists. Luckily he wasn’t hurt. Not sure why the training wheels wouldn’t stay on. Again, it may be a better bike for kids that don’t need training wheels.

    Ordered this for a Santa gift and was given a dinosaur chair instead. So couldn’t give our son a bike for Christmas as planned. Unacceptable business. You should be ashamed.
