Description

Frozen Garlic Texas Toast from market pantry™ will have you set whether you're looking for a savory snack or something to accompany a steak dinner. Thick-cut Texas toast is brushed with a delicious crushed garlic spread for taste you'll love, and it bakes in just eight minutes for a quick option. Simply pop it in a conventional oven or a toaster oven to get crisp, garlic Texas toast, then enjoy the Texas toast on its own or dipped in marinara sauce alongside pasta, roasted chicken, grilled steaks and more.


Directions

Keep frozen until ready to prepare.
If needed, thaw slices enough to separate.

Conventional Oven 
1. Preheat oven to 375F. Remove bread from packaging.
2. Place bread slices in single layer on baking pan. Place baking pan on middle shelf of oven.
3. Bake 5 to 6 minutes; turn over. Bake an additional 1 to 2 minutes or until golden brown around edges.

Toaster Oven 
Do not preheat oven.
1. Turn oven to 400F.  Remove bread from packaging. 
2. Place bread slices in single layer on baking pan. Place baking pan on middle shelf of oven. 
3. Bake 5 to 6 minutes or until golden brown around edges.

Since appliances may vary, these cooking instructions may need adjusting. For food safety and quality, product is fully cooked when it reaches an internal temperature of 165F. Refrigerate or discard leftovers immediately.

    Garlic is overcooked which makes it weirdly sweet

    Garlic was cooked too long before being added to the bread. Overcooking garlic makes it sweet. Good garlic bread has a bit of a bite of savory garlic not sweet garlic. This recipe was not ready for distribution. I recommend finding a recipe from a pro that includes how long to cook the garlic so it’s not overcooked to the point of being weirdly sweet.
