Crispy, fluffy, and perfect for seasoning
I really enjoy these steak fries because the texture is exactly what I want-crispy exterior and soft and fluffy interior. They also absorb seasoning really well. I personally prefer baking them over air frying and then seasoning with salt and garlic powder. My only complaint is they vary widely in size making cooking time inconsistent. You may have to pull some out earlier than others.

Perfect potatoes to enjoy with family
Perfect potatoes for frying in oil or making in the air fryer, they come in packaging that’s easy to keep in good condition in the refrigerator. Easy to thaw, I prepare them to go with hamburgers or hotdogs, my family loves them. They are long and thin, which makes them crispy when eating.

Very good but very soggy
These fries are very good. The only issue which might be just a me problem, is I feel like they become soggy. I’ll cook them in the air fryer and they either get too hard or they get soggy. They taste amazing though and they are priced reasonably for the amount of fries you get. They don’t get super greasy unless you had oil or some sort of nonstick to them.

Smelled Horrible
As we were baking these they smelled awful. They made our house smell like manure, very unappetizing. Not sure why this was as we've made these before with no issues. We ended up tossing them and won't be buying them again.

I like them because the thick steak cut gives them a crispy outside and a soft inside. The flavor is classic golden potato — clean and not artificial. Quality-wise, they’re consistent: they don’t break, don’t get soggy, and work great fried or in the air fryer

My go to fry for years. Ore-ida has the best tasting and best quality potatoes you can get. The steak fries are thick and delicious in any way you prepare them. They cook within minutes and are soft on the inside crispy on the outside.

I’m not going to lie, I’m a fiend when it comes to french fries. You see, I grew up at a time when the fried Daddy was the new hot thing. And when I was young my daddy got one. Yes, he was the fried daddy, but we also had a fried Daddy.Anyways, not only did we make homemade donuts every Sunday night but we also made homemade french fries and they were absolutely delicious. Now that started my obsession for fries, and while I absolutely love homemade hand cut fries, I could never get them thick enough and cooked well enough. But that’s where ore-ida came in to save the day. These fries are absolutely delicious, whether you are deep frying or popping them in the oven. Not only do I love them, but my kids can’t get enough of them!

Great fries from the freezer section. I made these in my air fryer and they came out crisp on the outside but warm and soft on the inside. I sprinkle some seasoning salt to enhance the flavor. Great for a late night treat when I'm too tired to cook

These go great for steak and eggs. I wish they were less salty but they are not too salty. Just low sodium would be preferred. The amount in the bag is great for the price. It’s always good to have a frozen pack on hand as a backup or quick easy meal!

Too much potato, not enough crunch
I usually love Ore-Ida products, but these steak fries were a miss for me. They looked great coming out of the oven, but the inside was way too thick and starchy, and the outside never got that crispy texture I wanted — even after extra bake time….so the instructions are hit or miss. They taste more like baked potatoes than fries. I’ll stick to the thinner cut ones next time!

Best steak fries ever!
These are by far the BEST steak fries ever! They get crispy but yet still soft and tender on the inside when cooked according to the instructions. You get so much in the bag for what you spend! Honestly, you couldn’t miss these a mile away, the packaging is perfect for it.
