Not bad, but wouldn't be my first choice for a canned Chili

Good for no meat
This vegetarian chili was loaded with beans. It had good flavor. The base of the chili had a tomato sauce-like consistency. I would have liked to see more vegetarian crumbles in the chili to give it more of a meat-like consistency. I am a Hormel Foods Employee.

Solid Vegetarian Chili
We paired with veg hotdogs to make chili cheese dogs. Very good. A little heavy on the chili powder was only criticism. Best veg chili we've had recently. I am a Hormel Foods Employee.

This chili was very flavorful and had a little spice to it, which I preferred. It also has a 19g of protein even though it's vegetarian because of the beans! It was also very convenient and easy to eat

I would buy this again

Quick Meatless Meal!
What a day! I needed something quick and filling. Cooking for two isn't always easy but Hormel Chili to the rescue! One and a half cups of cooked pasta, a can of chili, and shredded cheddar cheese fit the bill. (Heart shaped pasta, no less, to make it EXTRA comfort food!). He just mixed and microwaved and we were cozied up with dinner in less than 15 minutes! (Proud to say…) I'm a Hormel Employee.

THAT IS NOT MEAT
You guys, read the ingredients. The meat everyone thinks they are seeing is a soy product - Texturized Vegetable Protein (TVP) - not meat. Ai yi yi. If you’re ok with meat substitutes this is a good option.

Great for crowd sized meatless hot taco dip!
I've been using Hormel Vegetarian Chili for years in one of my family's staple appetizers; hot taco dip! Simple yet oh so yummy~layer a block of cream cheese, can of Hormel Vegetarian Chili, half jar of chunky salsa and shredded cheese on top. Bake 350 for 25 minutes~serve with tortilla chips! Enjoy!
