Q: The snaps on the side arm pads will not stay snapped. Is there a trick to this or is it defective?

  • A: Hi Emma, Thank you for reaching out to us. Try pushing the top part of the arm cushion to the arm assembly and pulling hard on each end to reach the snaps on both sides. You can also try attaching first the snaps placed inside (seat part), pushing the top of the cushion in place (towards the arm assembly) and pulling the end of the cushions to attach on the snaps placed outward.

    Purchased for my expectant daughter-in-law, and the chair’s wood was flawed where the glider parts (nuts and bolts) are located which made it inoperable. The wood is cracked and chipped. Very disappointed with the craftsmanship!

    The glider is very smooth when gliding and the cushions comfortable. I got it for my birthday and am expecting our second baby. It is easy to glide with my first baby on lap. I guess what I am saying is that with all that weight on it it is an excellent gliding condition. This is my initial review and will update in a few months

    Fantastic Glider for Short Term Use

    This glider has been invaluable to us with our infant and it really is great for the price. We've sat in it nearly non-stop for the past 4.5 months while nursing and rocking and soothing. However, if you hope to get more than 4-5 months of use out of a glider, spend money on something that will hold up better. The seat cushion and footrest have completely worn through from constant use. I reached out to Storkcraft to order replacements, and they don't offer replacements so we're out of luck. Still, we loved it while it lasted.

    Very thin seat cushion

    I really like the size of the glider chair and the movement is nice and relaxing. I'm disappointed by how thin the seat cushion is. It's for a mom to be who I imagine will use the glider as she's nursing or comforting the baby. I have a glider and ottoman from 23 years ago and the cushion is still comfortable and thick like a cushion on a wooden chair should be.

    Great chair, has taken wear and tear in last 3.5yr

    We have had this since the summer of 2022 after my son was born. We are currently using it for our next baby as well in 2025. It has been used so much and it has held up. The buttons on the back slowly popped out but still functional. The side handrests have moved around a bit but it does its job and well. We are satisfied.

    Beware, its pretty but the quality isnt great!

    Trying to get replacement parts is rediculous! The arm covers wear out badly! Theres a piece of misshapen foam in there, when you wash it - like youre suppose to be able to - it gets deformed! Trying to replace these covers is impossible. You have to do tap dances to get ahold of anyone!

    Good for bottle feeding

    This glider is good for bottle feeding an infant. It has come in handy as supportive for caring for my infant through some back pain. My biggest gripe is that the armrests are comically high. My elbow cannot comfortably rest on it without my shoulder being up by my ears and puts my baby at a weird unsupported angle so he doesn’t like it either. Really hard to nurse in too. I bought this cheap one as my first did not like the rocker we got so I didn’t want to spend a ton of money on a rocker to be rejected. May need to upgrade from this one.
