Great Product Bad Tray
I love the taste of this product. My only complaint is that the tray plastic foam sticks to the patties and is hard to get off when the patties are frozen. Because of this there is plastic in my pan and I think we will be getting plastic digested. I think I will have to stick to links and stay away from patties.

Salty Breakfast Mild Sausage Patties
I generally buy the maple breakfast sausage patties and or links. My grocery store was out so I bought the mild sausage patties. These patties were sooooo salty and weren’t as flavorful as the maple sausage. They didn’t taste like breakfast sausage.

Fake and fat - taste really bad.
The taste is not good at all. Very disappointing. They have changed something and it tastes fake. The quality has gone way down. Have to go to someone else because I will not being buying anymore of their products. Loved the sausage bacon when it was available.

Mild sausage patties not what they used to be
I've been buying the mild breakfast sausage patties for as long as I can remember. Early this year I was cooking breakfast at the cabin and noticed the patties had more fat and less spice. In fact, my brother asked, "Why did you get Smithfield?". I thought this might have been a "one off". But every pack I've bought since has been the same. I didn't mind paying a bit more for Johnsonville because I was getting something I thought was higher quality. That no longer seems to be the case. I might as well just go with whatever's on sale and save a buck or two. Whatever you do, please, please, please don't change your Italian sausages!

too greasy
I have been buying Johnsonville products for many years. The quality of the breakfast patties has dropped dramatically. way too greasy now and why the corn syrup. way less healthy. I will be looking for a different brand . I bought the Mild version

Too much fat.
I have been eating this sausage for years. Recently, I noticed the fat content had increased because you could see the extra fat in the patty. Upon cooking it was evident the sausage was completely different. It reduced in size by more than half and the grease in the pan was triple what it would normally have been. At first I assumed it was a batch that was improperly mixed. That’s was until I purchased it at a different time and it was still the same result. I will not buy this product ever again. There are other brands with less fat. I liked the previous, leaner, recipe. Just because it may taste the same doesn’t make it the same.

Johnsonville's sneaky change to 12-oz package
The quality of your breakfast sausage patties is very good, but I object to your trickery in recently reducing their size (down to a 12-oz package). I remember reading an article many decades ago about Hershey trying to decide whether to reduce the size or the chocolate content of Hershey bars when chocolate prices went way up - Hershey decided to do neither but increased the price instead. Johnsonville should have had the same courage as did Hershey. I'll start buying some bulk sausage and shape my own patties in the future.

Bad smell
There’s something wrong with this sausage. I bought 2 packages and both had an awful smell when cooking. I thought I got a bad package, but the other package was just as sour smelling. I threw both packs away, so not sure of the taste. Pass on this product!

If you want to eat plastic...
Packed in styrofoam that gets on the sausage, so yeah, you're eating styrofoam with the sausage. Also, it's not just sausage but also unhealthy and unnecessary additives/fillers. Gross.

Blackened sausage
I bought this week and cooked it per instructions but any way I cooked it looked burned or black. My wife had the same results. It was a little rubbery. I wouldn’t buy this again.

Bought these on sale. Already pre-portioned was convenient. Quick and easy to cook. Not a fan of the seasoning, it tastes more like links than patties but I'm probably just used to country seasoning I was raised on.

Taste Good, but I don't like the ingredients
I've been buying Johnnsville sausage patties for over a year. They have less grease than some other brands and taste okay. I recently noticed they contain corn syrup and BHA so I switched to a brand that does not include them.
