These are quite yummy so long as you don’t heat them in the microwave over 20 to 25 seconds. If you overcook them, you’ll have to throw them out unfortunately.

Just bought these and they are good! Way better than the vegan ones I used to eat +5 years ago. Added some veggie chili beans and even my husband liked them-he ate 3 of them!

I like these but PLEASE add a clear sell by date! Every one of these that I buy, the sell by date is illegible and just a bunch of dots. I have to try to guess when these are good until, which shouldn't be allowed.

Gross gross and gross. My sister bought for me. I took one bite, spit it out and fed the rest to the opposums and racoons that I feed. Just disgusting.

I’m a lifelong vegetarian and have bought this brand for years. Good solid veggie dogs; I usually cook them in a cast iron pan and let the outside get slightly browned.

Why are all the good products being eliminated always. Bring them back We want them back. Shame on Target

I love these!! If you follow the cooking instructions (which are ridiculously simple) they’re delicious! I prefer a soft hot dog with no..crunch? If that’s the best word to describe a grilled natural casing hot dog. If you prefer the crisp, these may not be for you

These do taste good, but the ingredients are awful for you.

i was very wary to try these after reading the reviews but took a chance. i made sure to grill them not microwave or boil them. they turned out great! they def taste more like a cheap hotdog vs the flavor you would get from a 100% beef hot dog but after not having a hot dog in 10 years i am very happy with these! will buy again.

I tried cooking one in my toaster oven. It turned into liquid inside with a leathery outside. Pretty awful. The only way they felt like hot dogs was if I let one warm up in a preheated spot. Also, they lacked the smoky favour or real hot dogs.

i love vegan chili dogs was not satisfied with broth in the plastic, is salty takes me a minute to get around the flavor of the broth. I don't mind the texture is not the best for the price. is ok but I won't go out of my way for this again.

I have not eaten meat in over a decade and can tell you these are good and don’t taste like meat. They have changed the formula recently, they used to look a little more round in the package. I always dread when I see new packaging because they usually add formula changes when they do that and though I admit the old formula was better, these are still delicious. I like the convenience of hot dogs and i like that I have the option of throwing one on a bun and not having to worry about making a meal with limited time. I usually eat these with some mustard and sauerkraut and they taste great, but when I have the time, I like to make some vegan chili or sauté some onions and peppers. Ive had curious omnivores ask to try these and have not had any of them say anything negative about the taste or texture, so it’s weird seeing all the negative reviews. I have two ways I like to heat these up, I either put them in the microwave for 30 seconds to a minute so they don’t get wrinkly, or boil water on high heat in a shallow pan and toss them in for less than a minute.

My vegetarian kids really like these hot dogs. They are picky eaters and we can always count on these.

These aren't the best vegan hot dog, but they are cheap and pretty good. My partner loves with this brand.

Tried multiple ways to make these appetizing. Boiling turns them into silken tofu, pan frying them turns the entire dog chewy. Photos are after baking, broiling or air-frying: Steam separates the skin from the inside and turns to leather. Poking holes doesn't help, and microwaving proves the same result... The only way these are healthy is the effort you'll put in to make them palatable.

These have the shape and feel of a hotdog once cooked, but not the correct taste or texture. If hotdog shadows had a taste these would be it.

These were awful. We microwaved and cooked on an indoor grill and the texture was terrible either way. They also have a mild fall/pumpkin spice flavor which was very upsetting.

The jumbo size is great on the grill or under broiler.

alright. im not vegan, i admit. but i like trying vegan meat options, as i've had my fair share of exposure to plant based meat while in culinary classes and have had a mostly positive experience with them so far. well, i DID have a mostly positive with plant based meats until i tried this. texture felt like i was chewing on slightly stale play-doh, tasted like something that would probably exist in the book 1984, and smelled like the la croix equivalent to hot dogs (i love la croix, that's just the best comparison i have). the smell also contaminated the house microwave for a couple of days. i live with two other people, so that's a very bad issue for my circumstances. overall one of the worst foods i've had. i'd rather drink the mildly expired milk that made me violently ill than eat these again. if this is your first exposure to plant based meat, i seriously feel bad for you as there are better options. i wouldn't recommend these even to people that have SEVERELY wronged me. if you can avoid these (i.e. not vegan / vegetarian), PLEASE DO. these are absolutely vile and didn't deserve my money. if you cannot, still avoid them. it's not quite there yet. i really, REALLY hope that these improve after this review is posted, as i love the vegan meat options that have been coming out recently. i strongly believe that plant based meat will be used more and more in the future. the process just isn't there for a pack of franks yet, unfortunately.
