Poorly made, wood is chipping/splintered all over the truck right out of the box and got worse from the few minutes of play. Had to take it away as I didn’t think it was safe for my child to play with - could cause cuts and or splinters. Do not recommend!!!

Not Like Other Melissa & Doug
We have quite a few Melissa & Doug toys and generally love them but this isn’t quite up to par. The edges where the animals are cut out of the sides are rough (I had to pull off a few splintering parts after I caught a sharp edge) and the wood dents super easy. We’ve had it a day and already dented and my 14mo isn’t that destructive. Animals and rangers seem fine to keep playing with but maybe we’ll skip putting them in the “rescue” truck. A bit disappointed in quality for price point.

CHEAPLY MADE AND BROKE DON'T BUY
So cheaply made!! My son dropped it from not even a foot in the air while playing and it broke. Not to mention the wood is super rough and could definitely cause splinters.

Not worth it!
Was playing with my son today and put my hand inside the truck to get an animal and I got a huge splinter on my hand, it’s been hurting non stop all day! Saw previous reviews stating the same thing! The animals are fine to play with it seems; even though paint has chipped and it hasn’t even been a month, as I purchased for Christmas! Overall I will not let my child play with this toy any longer , I would not want him to have to go through the pain I’ve had to deal with !

I would never buy another product form this company.
My son only had it for a couple days and it started to separate. Had to take it away from my son so he wouldn't get hurt.

A hit with our two year old.
I sent this to my granddaughter for her second birthday. Report was that she immediately went to work on it and loved it. The next time I FaceTimed with them (I'm 5600 miles away), it was still out, on their coffee table! A clear sign that it continues to be a source of happy play. And learning! Paint chips away easily
My little one loves this toy. But she has had it less than one week before the paint has started to come away and the wood is chipped. I can't find anywhere in the toy specification what type of wood is used to make these toys or the paint that is used? These toys are great for gentle play, but did not hold up well to my little girls 'rough' handling. Which is disappointing.

Poor quality wood
We got this as a gift and my 2 year old barely starting playing with it before the wood started to break off and splinter. We immediately took away the truck and let her play with the animals only. Very disappointed in the quality of this item. I would not recommend it.
