  • A: Hi, thanks for reaching out. The total carbohydrates are made up of dietary fiber, sugar, added sugar and sugar alcohols. Our Carbsmart Vanilla contains 7 grams of net carbohydrates based on a 1/2 cup serving size. The net carbohydrate amount has been calculated by taking total carbohydrates and subtracting dietary fiber and sugars alcohols (16g-4g-8g=4g).     Great if you like the "diet" taste

    It's a great value and definitely works in a pinch to kill that ice cream craving. On its own you can still taste the artificial sweetener like in most diet products. If you don't mind that it's great!

    Needs Taste Improvement

    The ice cream was awful. The ice cream has a very lardy taste that I didn't want to finish eating it. So, I ended throwing away the ice cream.

    I love the Breyers Carb Smart ice cream! My favorite is the vanilla, chocolate & strawberry combo flavored one,....yes, 3 flavors in the container. I am disappointed that I cannot find it in Target stores any more, I only find the vanilla one there. Target.....please restock the 3 flavor combo one!

    I thought Breyers was all natural ice cream. This formula is NOT. It tastes artificial and leaves a nasty aftertaste in your mouth.

    See the carton? All those delicious flecks of vanilla? Yeah - NOPE! No vanilla flecks, and mediocre vanilla flavor. This ice cream is just ... WHITE. Looks white, tastes white. We do not recommend.

    Wallah!

    Carb Smart has become my favorite desert. All I add is fresh strawberries or blueberries, a handful of nuts, and Zero Cool Whip...Wallah! a refreshing ice cream sundae for another great day.

    Great choice for dessert alternative

    I was recently diagnosed with diabetes and I just love desserts. But I know that I can't eat just anything. I have to eat smart. I will still eat something sweet maybe once or twice a month. The rest of the time is sugar-free or low carb as well as low sugar such as this delicious ice cream from Breyers.

    Yes, you CAN have ice cream and watch your carbs!

    I LOVE this stuff! It's not only low carb, it's low calorie, too! The entire container is only 900 calories. I thought I had to give up ice cream when my doc told me to cut out most carbs. I buy this regularly. It tastes great, too.
