Q: Greetings - I answered my own question: Ceylon cinnamon (also known as TRUE cinnamon) is listed in the Badia 'cinnamon sticks' details. Ceylon cinnamon is from Sri Lanka in S. Asia - not India.

A: Badia has both Ceylon and non-ceylon cinnamon sticks. The specific item and size noted in this question is in fact Ceylon that comes from Sri Lanka. The cinnamon sticks that are non-Ceylon come from both Indonesia and Vietnam

Q: Greetings: What country do Badia cinnamon stix come from? I'm told only India exports true (real) cinnamon. Some 'like cinnamon' spices from asia don't have the medicinal benefits of 'true' cinnamon.

Scentless/tasteless
I use cinnamon sticks for cooking regularly these sticks had absolutely no smell or scent at all. I have never had a cinnamon stick that did not smell of cinnamon. I could not use these to cook with.

I use this in my water to make it taste better , usually one stick of the other kind I use and I’ve got yummy water for at least 3 or 4 refills . But one stick of this did nothing , and two made it taste gross . Spend a little more for better quality and flavorful cinnamon Do not recommend!!
