I bought my first dozen a few weeks back and purchased another dozen today. The yolks are almost orange and remind me of the eggs our chickens used to lay growing up. Yolks don't break when you fry them. They make great egg salad. Have also used them in two pumpkin pies. Target's price is lower than the specialty grocery I go to that also sells them

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These organic eggs tasted great! When I opened the container, all of the eggs looked perfect in color, shape and texture. I made scrambled eggs, they came out fluffy and delicious.

I’ll never buy this brand again. Yesterday, 9/10/25, I had the brown sugar and butter mixed up to make a large pan of brownies, cracked the first egg (unfortunately into the butter mixture) and the inside of the eggshell had dark spots, one possibly blood, but was orange - a Google search said the spots were mold! I checked a couple of other eggs and found a lesser amount of mold spots, but I didn’t feel it was safe to use any from the carton. Best by date is 9/16/25. In all the years I’ve been baking I’ve never seen anything so disgusting. I’ll now start cracking each egg into a separate bowl prior to adding to whatever I’m making, just in case.

These are my fridge staple. The yolks are deeply orange and so richly flavorful. I don't need to add any flavorings like other eggs. Also makes the most luxurious eggnog that everyone will swoon for!
Best ever

My roommate has food allergies and Happy Eggs are the only brand that don’t trigger reactions. I love the way they cook up whether fried, poached or hard boiled. Taste is delicious and I appreciate the fact that hens are free range with no added harmful ingredients!!

Used to love the eggs but the yolk is no longer amber color. It tastes like store brand eggs. Until they fix it I won’t be purchasing any more

Oh no, we are sorry to hear you didn't have a great experience with Happy Egg! We always expect some variability in yolk color because, just like humans, no two hens are exactly alike. Several natural factors, such as seasonal changes, diet adjustments, or individual hen differences, can affect yolk color. Rest assured, our farming standards haven’t changed! The Happy Hens still enjoy a premium, nutrient-rich diet and daily access to outdoor pastures, where they play, peck, and forage. Please reach out to us at contact@happyegg.com. We'd love to make this right and send you a coupon!

I LOVED these eggs soooo much. Recently I've noticed that they were pale & white in color- not their usual vibrant orange. They definitely did not taste the same, either. Much more bland than normal. I thought it was just the one box I had but it's been multiple boxes that I've bought the last few weeks. :(

These are, quite honestly, the best eggs. There is such a distinguishable difference in yolk color and taste! The heritage blue and brown eggs are a serotonin boost all on their own!

The yolks are as pale and yellow as a store brand eggs. Are you selling us a lie? These chickens must not have a good diet if their egg yolks are pale yellow. But, you sure do advertise them to be dark orange. Im very disappointed, just another lie to capitalize on Americans hard earned money.

The organic line of happy eggs are my second go to at the store. Free range and organic both have rich amber yolks that adds so much flavor to the egg itself. So delicious and the quality is amazing

These eggs are a great option if you want eggs where hens are fed organic feed. Happy Egg hens are also able to roam free outside on pasture. The yolks are a beautiful yellowish-orange too. I received product in exchange for my review, but the thoughts and opinions are my own.
