I got a bigger one for my dog and it's the same feel and quality as this little one I got for when his little friend comes over. Very good for elderly dogs, but I would get this for a younger dog as well because it would help prevent joint problems early on. The cover also dries fairly fast after washing compared to another pet bed I have so that's a bonus

Amazing - getting another!
I bought this new bed to keep in my office since I'm now staying home full time and need one spot for them to lay so they aren't always in the way. We have had what looks to be a similar one for years and I wanted a nice firm but soft bed for my older labs. This is much larger than I expected and even more perfect for our two labs. I have purchased a lot of dog beds in our time with pets and this is by far the best one for the price - and its great quality and comfortable.

Nice size. Able to sleep 2 medium sized dogs. The cover can be taken off and washed.
