Disappointed by recipes, but I like the format

The recipient and her mother were not inspired by many of the recipes, and I was expecting that after looking through the recipes myself. I purchased a few baking supplies--including a cute little flour and oil that I found at Target--that I put with the gift. I chose not to return the book because I liked the pictures, directions and commentary, but if I give a cooking gift in the future, I'll choose a different book.
