Q: Is there a way to hang / mount this mirror without having the hooks exposed? I don't really want to see the hooks and nails.

A: Most pictures show the mirror hung without showing the hooks and that can be easily and safely done by hanging it with a wire tied to the hooks, exactly like the video of the product shows.

This mirror is beautiful but extremely heavy. The description says it weighs 6 pounds but it’s closer to 10 pounds. I am deciding whether or not to keep it based on the weight. It would definitely need to be attached to a picture-hanging nail which goes directly into the wall framing- not just the dry wall. Other than the weight - it’s a beautiful mirror.

Purchased/hung in April of 2020. About a month ago the gold paint on the frame began to crackle/bubble. It has not been exposed to the elements, the sun does not hit it at any time of day, I have not cleaned the mirror with anything but windex & have only dusted the frame, I’ve never applied any chemical to it. If this was a $20 piece I would not write a critical review. But I was trying to avoid buying cheap, junk decor for my daughter’s nursery. I thought I bought a quality mirror given the price (you usually get what you pay for). I wish I could get my money back.
