The Franklin Sports MLB Play Ball 2-in-1 Grow-with-Me Baseball Tee is specially designed for first-time athletes learning to play baseball. The set is engineered to offer a 2-step process to truly train kids as they grow. Kids start with the beginner Hanging Tee design, and eventually work their way up to the Traditional Tee Trainer. The set can easily be converted in seconds! The hanging tee features shorter height adjustments (18" - 26") for first-time players. Just take a baseball & fasten it to the bottom of the red arm. When ready, keep your eye on the ball & swing away! Young athletes are sure to improve hand-eye coordination skills as they play. Once confidence is gained, the hanging arm can be removed and replaced with the traditional tee topper. This style tee features taller height adjustments (25” – 36”) so young players can truly learn as they grow! The velcro doesnt hold
I thought the point of this vs a tee was that you wouldn't have to chase the ball when it was hit because it's attached to the arm, but the velcro is so poor that the balls almost fall off on the own. My son is only two and he can easily knock the ball off the arm.

Great for hand eye coordination practice. You have to use two hands to set the Velcro ball, otherwise it’s very simple and fun to use. My 5.5 yrs old and 3.5 yrs old are using it for tball practice. Very helpful, first timers tool.

Not able to use completely
The part that attaches to hang the ball is too small into the post. If I force that part it will split the pipe and crack over time so I cannot use that feature. Its a teeball post at the time which makes it where you can only use it 1 of the 2 intended functions. Disappointing.

Not what we needed
When I saw this in the store I purchased excitedly as my toddler was requesting a bat and tee. I was not thrilled with the price but we bought it anyway. Once we unboxed I was definitely less thrilled with the price. The bat was cheap plastic, the balls were thin plastic covered in a felt like fabric. Initially when I purchased, I felt like the balls were attached so you could practice hitting and the ball would stay in place. However, the ball sticks to the bar with a very loose Velcro attachment. So once the ball is hit it goes flying…which is ok if you aren’t practicing inside. However, this style ball (felt) would be disgusting after it was used outside. Once all the hair, grass, dirt, stickers were stuck to it, it no longer sticks to the Velcro.
