The slices are thinner than normal, but the slices are also smaller than normal. I guess if I needed small bread slices for something this would be good. I prefer my bread normal size.

The thin aspect is good for my waist but not my heart. I prefer a little more weight/sturdiness to my bread but this slice felt more aligned with health goals. The bread is not only delicious but helps you enjoy a sandwich while better helping you maintain your macros. Two slices give you 6 grams of protein, 4 grams of fiber, and 29 grams of whole grains for only 140 calories. I like that these slices are a tad smaller and thinner. It helps me be able to enjoy my favorite sandwiches without the guilt or heaviness of other breads. For a whole wheat bread I'd say its flavor is top tier. If you are comparing it to a soft white bread this bread will be a little drier but more flavorful.

It is super versatile so you can use it for just about anything you would normally use bread for with the exception of French toast. You want great regular toast? Done you want a great texture for a sandwich? Done it can do that too! We've been fans of Pepperidge Farms for a long time and we love their other offerings. It has a hearty texture that makes anything you are eating with it a pleasure. I decided to have it for breakfast with some jelly on it. My wife is also grabbed a piece and turned it into toast with some butter and jelly. You really can't go wrong with this type of bread and it's easy to use with different meals.This is definitely healthy and we've even considered switching to this bread permanently. We would definitely purchase again the next time we are grocery shopping and looking for a great bread to buy. It's also not as polarizing as some of the other bread options like rye bread which is an acquired taste for most.

Sometimes sandwiches can feel overwhelmed by the bread and I want to taste all the components of my sandwich. With the thin slices, it’s a perfect balance of bread to fillings. We are also trying to eat healthier in my home, so this thin sliced whole grain bread is a great option for my family! There’s 4 grams of fiber, 6 grams of protein, 29 grams of whole grains in 2 slices am only 70 calories in each slice. It’s a great way to get fiber and grains into our diet. My kids also enjoyed starting their morning with a couple of slices of toast and I felt good about giving it to them. Anyone who enjoys whole grain bread will love this bread!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was not impressed with my loaf of bread. It had a huge hole throughout the entire loaf. I had maybe 4 peices that were usable for a sandwich. I guess the slices that had the holes in them could be used for toast and jelly. The flavor of the bread was ok.

It taste fresh and doesn’t have that weird preservative taste most packaged bread has. Has a nice slightly sweet taste which is perfect for my late night sweet tooth cravings. The good news- the taste is great, classic, quality that one expects from Pepperidge. It's great for peanut butter toast in the morning, grilled cheese in the evening, and everything in between. My concern is two-fold. First,.this bread is actually not much thinner than it's "non-thin" Pepperidfe Farm Bread comparison. I was expecting something akin to sandwich thins. Instead the slice of bread is simply small- by my guess, about 2/3rds the area of a slice of bread. I don't mind this in theory, but I wish it was advertised as much. Second, this bread burns/chars lightening -fast. Once I got used to it, it wasn't bad, but it definitely took burning a few pieces of bread to get a feel for it.
