Too peppery/spicy;not mild.
I bought the 1 lb bulk sweet Italian sausage; way too peppery. I broke out in a sweat after two bites. It was in vegetable soup I made. My husband puts jalapeño on his food and he was the one that alerted me because I had jaw surgery 3 mos ago. Nothing mild about it. I threw out the entire pot of home made veggie soup.

Something has changed
We love Johnsonville mild ground Italian sausage and use it regularly in recipes. Lately we have noticed it having more of a bite. It is spicier than it was. Did you change the recipe? Please change it back.

Check the weight!
I bought this sausage for my Thanksgiving dressing. I needed 8 ounces and weighed it. It says it’s 16 ounces but when I weighed it , it was only 12 ounces. I noticed the package shows 6 servings of 2 ounces also. Big mistake!

No best buy date
I like the sausage but I’m frustrated because there is no best buy date printed on the package. I had to throw it out because it says use within 3 days or freeze for 30 but I couldn’t remember when I bought it.
