Q: How many treats max in one day?

submitted by Lyndy - 4 years ago
  • A: The caloric intake from treats should not exceed 10% of a dog’s total daily caloric requirement. However, Puppy Chow Training Treats provide 100% complete and balanced nutrition for dogs of all life stages, including puppies, so that they will not dilute the nutritional value of your dog’s regular diet. If treats are given, the amount of food should be reduced accordingly to maintain proper weight. Provide adequate fresh water in a clean container daily. For your pet’s health, see your veterinarian regularly. - The Puppy Chow Team

    My dog doesn't eat them

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a huge bag for my puppy at first she ate a few here and the first day after that and now she just refuses them and leaves them on the floor maybe they're too hard for her no clue .

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We’re sorry to hear that your puppy stopped eating the Puppy Chow Puppy Training Dog Treats after the first day. It’s possible the pieces may be too hard for her or simply not the right texture or flavor for a young pup. Puppies can be sensitive to kibble size and hardness as their teeth develop. We appreciate you letting us know, and we’ll be sure to pass along your feedback. If you’d like help finding a softer or more puppy‑friendly formula she may enjoy, we’re here to assist. When time permits, please reach out to us directly at https://www.purina.com/contact-us. - The Puppy Chow Team

    My puppy loves them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had bought two different puppy training treats before this one, he was unimpressed, not motivated to train, and just didn’t care to eat them. Once I bought these ones he was excited and motivated, they are the perfect size and I love the fact that you can break them in half for smaller breeds. It’s a good size bag for your money ESPECIALLY if you do break them apart. I did have the use scissors to keep breaking them up into my treat bag, but I may just have weak finger strength LOL. Overall 10/10!

My little furball goes absolutely wild for them, seriously, it's like they're made of pure magic.
