Description
ZWILLING Pro is the most user-friendly knife available to market. The unique blade shape and ergonomic bolster are the result of years of experience in knife making, and the rigorous study of how knives are used. A unique curved bolster supports the professional pinch grip, with thumb and index finger on the blade, for safe cutting and less fatigue. The blade was redesigned with a broader curve in the front to facilitate the rocking motion of Western cutting, while the straight back is ideal for the Asian chopping motion. The full length of the blade can be used when cutting and can be sharpened from bolster to tip Designed in Italy by Matteo Thun and made in Germany by ZWILLING J.A. Vegetable Cleaver
While it’s primarily designed for vegetables, this knife is surprisingly versatile. I’ve used it for slicing meats and herbs as well, and it performs exceptionally well across the board. The weight and balance of the knife provide excellent control, making it a joy to use.

Perfect for the job
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a very heavy cleaver to help chop vegetables. This hits the spot. It is too heavy and thick a blade for work that requires delicate use of a blade, in my view, but it is perfect for something where you want a lot of mass coming down pretty fast. Blade has a slight curve, which I also find useful for getting the blade up and down quickly.
