Description
The Evenflo® Maestro™ Sport Booster Seat offers two modes of forward-facing use for your growing child. Accommodating children 22-110 lbs., stage one has a 5-point harness for children at least 2 years old up to 50 lbs., and stage two allows you to use the vehicle belt as a high back booster for children at least 4 years old. The up-front harness adjustment is centralized, making it easy to properly tighten the harness. As your child grows, the shoulder belt guide assists in positioning the vehicle's belt across their shoulder to provide optimal safety. Children appreciate the dual integrated cup holders to keep their snacks and drinks secure. The removable, machine-washable seat pad allows for easy cleanup of any messes. The Maestro Sport is designed, engineered, tested and assembled in the United States.Evenflo car seats have been tested above and beyond industry standards and undergo our rigorous side impact and dynamic rollover tests. Additionally, all car seats include live video installation support, giving you the tools and confidence to securely and correctly install your car seat.

Comfortable
We’ve been using the Evenflo Maestro Sport (Layton pattern) for a few months now, and overall it’s been a solid and reliable seat. The installation was straightforward, and the 5-point harness feels secure. It’s not too bulky, which makes it easier to move between vehicles, and I appreciate that it can transition later to a high-back booster.

DANGEROUS - Styrofoam headpiece broke off
We got this car seat a year ago. Used it maybe once a month. Today, I decided to remove the fabric cover to wash it and the Styrofoam head padding broke off without us even touching it. It's impossible to reattach (we tried with superglue etc, it just keeps falling off). Don't waste your money (or your kids' life) on this product.

The foam within the seat can tend to crack or break just like any foam pieces, especially as the child gets older and starts to climb in/out of the seat. The foam is designed to help absorb energy if involved in an impact and can still absorb that energy even if it is cracked or broken, so even if the foam is broken or cracked in large pieces and fits together such as a puzzle piece the seat can still be safely used. They foam is typically offered as a replacement part for the Maestro Sport car seat and can be obtained by contacting Evenflo's ParentLink Consumer Care Team at 800-233-5921.

Screw in the cup holders!!
The car seat is great. & for everyone in the comments, you have to screw the screws that come with the car seat in for the cup holders to hold them in place!!! & it also shows how it is done & tells you that you have to do this in the manual!!!

We have used this seat for years and love it!
My son has been using this car seat for years and we love it! I see people say the cup holders come off but screws come with the seat to attach them but if you aren’t paying attention you might throw the screws away like we almost did cause they come in the tiniest bag. If you do throw them away just go to the hardware store and get new ones super simple. My son loves the seat. The seat could use some more cushion but other then that no complaints!

The car seat was not too difficult to install. I did have to view the video regarding lengthening the harness straps; the written directions were too vague on that point. It seems sturdy and secure in the car. All tightened down I could not budge it. My grandson said he was comfy in the new car seat.
