Gettttting good sleep
The feel is superrr soft and cozy. I love that it has double zippers for easy night time diaper changes. my baby is 14 pounds and 24 inches long and the small fit perfect. I was looking for a transition sack to switch to since my baby has started to roll over and can no longer be swaddled (SHE LOVED BEING SWADDLED) and would sleep through the night. This sack is perfect I’ve had it for a few weeks and I think it helps keep her asleep and comfortable. I love it.

This has been one of my favorite purchases for my baby. We started using this around 10 weeks and he has basically slept through the night ever since! He likes to suck his thumb to self sooth, so allowing him out of the swaddle was such a game changer.

Didnt help
This isn’t a miracle worker. My 4 month old was escaping the sleep sack swaddles so I thought I would try this to help the transition. I didn’t notice a difference between this and any other sleep sack. She can still raise her hands and startle herself. If you are looking for a warm wearable blanket, this is perfect. But it does not ease the transition out of a swaddle.

Size chart on Target.com is wrong. The packaging for a size small says 13-20lbs but Target size chart says 10-18lbs.

Great Sleepsack
We bought this (in gray) and another half dozen transitional swaddle options from various brands to have handy for when our son rolled, and figured we'd ease him out of his swaddle by using these options during nap times to see if any of these worked well for him. On a whim I slipped him into this sleep sack for his morning nap when he was about three months. He slept his normal 30 minute nap (we have unrelated short nap issues unless being held by mom or dad). The nap wasn't impacted and so we put him in it for each nap throughout the day, then we tried it at bedtime and OMG it actually improved sleep at night. Our son has recently found his hands and it seems to sooth him to have access to his hands. This is the only transitional sack we've used, and it has worked seamlessly for our baby. I highly recommend this product!

Does NOTHING to reduce startle reflex
I should have listened to the negative reviews. This does absolutely nothing to even remotely help reduce the startle reflex. We loved the Halo Swaddle Sleepsacks - my 3-month-old would go down super easily and sleep through the night most nights. Unfortunately, she is also off the charts for her size and has most definitely outgrown the swaddles… so I was hoping this would do the trick. Sadly, it has not and it has taken nearly three hours for her to settle and fall asleep every night since switching to this and she wakes multiple times during the night. It is nothing more than an over-priced sleep sack.

MERLIN TRANSITION-IT WORKS!!!
I'm going to start by saying I was so very sad the day my little man could roll in his magic Merlin sleep suit. (hence making it not sleep safe) so, after scouring the internet for alternatives we came across this. Some said it works, some not. Well I'm here to say IT WORKS!!! even through the terrors of teething, it worked. the first night he stirred a bit more then usual, but by the second night it was just like the Merlin. This momma is so happy and thankful we found something that works and is sleep safe!! the quality is very good and nice. I keep the house at 69-70 when we sleep and he's always very comfortable. all I can say is BUY IT!!!

Great for transitioning out of swaddles
Our baby started out in a halo sleep sack swaddled and then transitioned to a zipadee zip when he started rolling. We wanted to get him transitioned out of the zippadee zip into something that didn’t cover his hands and still was safe for him to roll in, and we landed on this product. Guess what- it did the trick! We kept him in this for a few weeks and now he is transitioned into a sleeveless wearable blanket. I do wish this was less thick, as I felt like it was a bit too heavy/warm.
