Monoprice Speaker Wire, CL2 Rated, 2-Conductor, 18AWG, 50ft, White

The wire is WAY too stiff and causes issues. How stiff is it, you ask???? It's so stiff?. The wire slowly putts itself out of the back of the Monolith Amp I purchased from Monoprice. I have banana plugs with the wires but I have had to pull the amp out 3 times this month because the wires have dislodged from the Amp. I wish I could get a refund and get different wires to replace these so I don't have to keep doing this?. VERY FRUSTRATING!

Product was shipped and arrived as expected. Product is quality CL2 rated wire. Perfect for use when running in or through walls. Very happy with product. My wire runs (lengths) are about 50 feet. Wire quality is high, so sound quality to the speakers is as clear as if they were five feet from the stereo on professional quality wires. Used with 60-Watt 8ohm speakers.

Appears to be very good quality, like all the Monoprice products I've tried so far, but too stiff for use in point-to-point wiring or vehicular applications. Also the cable jacket is significantly oversized for 2 conductors, leaving a ton of spare room in the cable. The likely reason for this is that Monoprice created a single jacket for its 2-conductor & 4-conductor solutions, leaving a ton of spare room in the 2-conductor cable. In terms of stiffness, this Access Series wiring may be a little more pliable than the Monoprice Nimbus Series. Probably a decent solution for conduit or plenum applications where its stiffness would be a plus or applications where you really don't care that the jacket is taking up twice the space it should be?

Works as it should. I am pushing this to a pair of Focal outdoor speakers and this wire handles the current from a Yamaha amp for a fantastic sound. Each run is longer than 50? so it?s resistance is very nice. Inexpensive to boot. Would recommend.

As always another quality product from Monoprice! Good stranded solid copper speaker wire cheaper than any wear else!

Used these in car audio in my 4runner and E61 wagon. Excellent quality wires. Made of copper, feels like a solid wire. No issues so far with passing the signal to speakers. Very flexible and thick enough to make sure that it won't have any breakage.

Wire seems smaller than 14AWG. PVC Jacket is loose and twisted. Overall, a disappointment

I purchased this speaker wire after using it before to wire some in-wall speakers. After having used it twice, I'm sure I'll come back for more when the time comes. The flexibility is great and it's easy to pull through the wall. The quality of the wires and insulation is good as well. Factor in a very reasonable price point and it's a hard product to beat.

perfect for surround speakers, probably good for most LCR as well.

This is the quality wire I was looking for as I'm setting up my home theater. Very easy to work with and pulled through half-inch smurf pipe just fine.

CL2 rating means it can be run through walls for up to 100 watts, great stuff. Just as good if you don't have to run it through your walls

What's the new Prime satellites I bought recommended 18 gauge this was solid very nice very clean it follows good once you line it out I was recommended highly thank you

The white "jacket" is too loose. It looks "twisty". When attached to a wall it looks messy. No I can't take a picture of it. Other than looks, speaker wire is wire , nothing to get excited about.

While the wire is good the sheath around the 2 wires is way too big. Could probably fit 3, maybe 4 wires in it. Just needed wire for my subwoofers and this works great.

I ordered a 100ft spool to connect my B&W speakers to a new receiver I bought. Immediately noticed the drop in sound quality, particularly bass performance. Did not doubt the wire first because I was a skeptic on the whole speaker wire hype. However just to rule it out connected using the old wire I was using and it sounded much much better. Had to order better wire and spend a few hundred, but it is worth it. After spending '000s on the gear, skimping on the wire does not make sense. To summarize, if you have high end systems get better wire. It does make a difference!

Perfect for small rooms or short runs. Next time I'll get the 4 c3onductor for my ATMOS and bi-wiring.
