We have been trying to be more conscientious about our health and so I bought Horizons growing years whole milk for our little girl and I decided to try it in my coffee. I'm so glad I made this purchase because it is richer and creamier than half and half and our little girl loves it! It's so delicious that I don't even need to put sugar in my coffee any more! This is very serious — I purchased Horizon Growing Years Milk from 15150 Cedar Ave Apple Valley, Minnesota on August 26,2025 and discovered it was expired on August 13, 2025. The product was sitting there for a week and no one checked the expiry date?!? This is unacceptable specialy for baby food items. That was my first and last purchase of this milk. I'm very disappointed with both Target and Hotizon so called quality control team

My toddlers really enjoy this milk and it has not bothered their stomachs. I wish it was a little less expensive as I typically buy 2 every week. Other than that, the quality and taste is great!

I purchased the Growing Years and saw it had prebiotics. I don’t normally drink milk but it’s mainly for my one year old. I wanted cereal and went to use it. I have never been so sick in my life. Then I checked the carton and it’s got algae and weird ingredients in it. I’ve drank kombucha and prebiotic yogurt and workout drinks but I NEVER heard of these bizarre ingredients. I had a horrible reaction and will never buy anything besides regular milk again. Also I saw there’s a recall on your milk from December 17, 2024.

I notice and off smell and a too sweet taste not even two days after opening. Has happened with multiple cartons. We dont drink straight from the carton either. It just spoils abnormally fast. I’ve looked online and others have this issue too. Maybe it’s the process they use to fortify the milk. Not a fan

Our 16 month old has been drinking this for several months. My wife finished a carton recently but it still felt heavy. We cut open the carton to find a thick yogurt type substance. The milk was not spoiled but is separating. We were then shaking the milk but the lid leaks and makes a mess, Then we just had had chunks again poor out of a carton. We will be finding something new to serve our daughter. It doesn't say anything on the carton that this needs to be shook and carton leaks if you do.

I wanted to love this milk. I loved that it had DHA, choline, and prebiotics. However, there seems to be a serious issue with either quality control or transport. I bought four half gallons from two different stores (target and a grocery store) over a two week period. All were spoiled. I’m glad that I noticed my child was rejecting it and decided to smell and taste it. I know milk with DHA tastes and smells different. This milk was SPOILED. Also, for anyone with a kid with a ragweed allergy or eczema, think twice before you give them milk with chicory root (prebiotic in this milk). There is documented cross reactivity between ragweed and chicory root. As soon as I discontinued this milk, my toddler’s eczema cleared up within days.
