The diet cranberry juice is appreciated for its low calorie content and refreshing taste, making it a popular choice among health-conscious guests. However, there are significant concerns about the use of artificial sweeteners and red dye 40. Many guests have suggested switching to natural alternatives like stevia and removing the dye to make it a healthier option.

    Come clean OS!

Filled with red dye 40, a petroleum based synthetic dye, which is not good for any of us. Also Sucralose, another questionable substance. When are these corporations going to stop poisoning us? Clean up your act, Ocean Spray!

    We hated it.

This is really bad. I have bought the sugar free cranberry juice and it was way better than this. There is zero-next to non flavor of cranberry and all of a dietary chemical flavore.

I can finally drink all the juice I want again.

Whatever happens with the current USDA/HHS decisions on food dyes, please do not change the ingredient recipes for the Diet 5 products. Apart from having all the usual "great flavors," they are the only ones that DO NOT spike my blood sugar. Even better than your so-called "sugar free" varieties.

I like the product. But, I have a question. How long is the drink safe to drink after the best by date. I just drank a few ounces and noticed it was about five months past the best by date.

Red Food Dye FDA now bans Jan 15, 2025

I love Ocean Spray. This is my go to drink but I don't need the sugar. So looked at this one as an option but it has red food dye. In 2027 I will go back to drinking Ocean Spray and hoping it might be sooner when the Red Food dye goes away Regulatory Information from the FDA The FDA will no longer allow for the use of FD&C Red No. 3 in food and ingested drugs. On January 15, 2025, the FDA issued an order to revoke these authorizations. Manufacturers who use FD&C Red No. 3 in food and ingested drugs will have until January 15, 2027 or January 18, 2028, respectively, to reformulate their products. Consumers could see FD&C Red No. 3 as an ingredient in a food or drug product on the market past the effective date in the order if that product was manufactured before the effective date.

My husband loves this. Is the red dye coming out of it soon. I noticed others don’t have it in the product. We will try another one, but this Administration is probably taking it out of all food soon.

    Low Carb, Great Taste!

I love the fact that it doesn't contain corn syrup, which I have had a corn allergy to since I was 4 years old. I also like the taste, because it has enough of the tartness of cranberries and sweetness balanced acceptably. At only 2 grams of carbohydrate in 8 ounces, I would rather drink this cocktail than anything else!

Bad smell an taste is off

This juice was the absolute best, my husband an I use to purchase it on a regular basis. We took a break from it an just recently purchased from our local Market. My husband mentioned to me about a smell an the taste, I figured it was just because we had purchased in a while. I tried it, an to be honest I wouldn't purchase it again, we bought 2 bottles haven't tried the second, but it has an aweful smell an the taste is not the same. What ever it is, it's really bad !!!

    Diet 5

I just wanted to say Thank You for making the delicious flavors of this diet 5 drink. My absolute favorite is the Cran-Cherry, but i like them all. Its so hard to find a great tasting drink while being diabetic. Reasonably priced and easy to find in the stores. Thank You for a great tasting drink.

    Has Red 40

My daughter loves it and I wouldn't mind since the sugar is low, but it has Red 40! Get rid of the dye! No one cares what color it is! I'm not giving her the regular kind with 34g of sugar per cup either. Please, why do you have to use dye?

I drink about 4 bottles diet juice a week.

I really like it. I fill a glass with bottled water, and to it off with a cup of your diet juice. I’ve been worrying about what kind of sweetener is in it though. And now I see it’s got red dye in it too. I’ll most likely stop using your juice, even though I love it. I’m very cautious about ingredients in anything. I’m allergic to msg. And I got extremely ill for years, from drinking a lot of sugar substitutes, in drinks. I guess I’ll go back and use a little lemon in my water. Too bad, I really like it! But everyone should read labels.,,I bought protein powder a few months ago, and ended up in the er. In the ingredients it said it had arsenic in it. I don’t care what anyone says about many ingredients they allow in this country. As far as I’m concerned, the FDA shouldn’t allow many ingredients in products. Other countries are more cautious about what they allow to be in their products. .
