Great light and easy to use. Only complaint is that I wish the spread of the light was wider but that?s fixed by adding additional lights Looks cool and lots of varieties of patterns

Simple to use on sound activated. I hang it from my jbl array speaker. Adds some action to my show.

My stage has 2 of these and 4 Chauvet Colorbars. The Chauvet lights are more expensive, but provide a much deeper color wash and better coverage. I also find that the profile of this light makes it difficult to use in one direction -- the power cable comes out an angle to the floor making it necessary to turn the whole light 180 degrees. This can be inconvenient depending on the location of the AC power and connections to other lights. Otherwise, good lights for the money.

For the price point these are hard to beat. Only concern would be the green LED tends to be a little weaker so getting a good yellow (Red plus Green) is a bit hard. Most other colors are pretty easy to get out of these. I would love to see them add amber to make an RGBA, and an all white but tunable white version of these bars would also be a fantastic option. However adding an Amber LED would be my number one request - even if it doubled the price I'd still buy a lot of them!

I am giving these lights 5 stars for their performance within their price range. For the money you can't beat these. They have lots of features, And for a cheap way to wash walls they're great! They took a little while to be shipped but was worth the wait.

I ordered 2 of these lights and 1 worked fine, but the other was damaged. you could hear parts inside of it moving all around and it flickers. happy 1 works good but disappointed in the other.

I bought these to add some ambiance behind a facade to a wedding I DJ?d. They worked so well to add that wash effect and I got a lot of compliments about the set and setup. Definitely worth it will buy more.

The product was simple to use, colors are bright and nice, sound active was decent, but one LED bar had one defective block - displays red/green when it should be all red or all green. My initial thought was to cut my loses and get a refund, but i paid $20 in taxes and $40 in shipping and you dont get those back in a refund. Besides i liked them enough anyway so i opted to get a replacement for the defective one. I will update my review later after i get the replacement, to be fair to monoprice.

Now for $70, I have to say I did not have any expectations whatsoever. I bought this for a fun ambiance for my music setup. And it is fine for that. I just would caution against anybody thinking these might be actually good for stage lights. They are about a quarter the brightness you'd need for that. Fun toy at an appropriate price. Positives: -You can choose an RGB mix for the strobe program -Lightweight -Controls are on the top/bottom not the back like a lot of light bars -Cheap enough that you can buy multiples for stronger light -Sound activated programs seem to work well for straight out the box use

I ordered 3 of these lights and 1 of the 3 had to be returned because one bank of lights would not light up in any mode. It took a couple of weeks to get it from the time I shipped it back to the time I received the replacement. I have the 3 lights lined up next to each other and use in DMX mode. Unfortunately, there is not a way to in DMX mode to put the lights in a mode where they all operate together (ex. A Blue block of light travels from the light on the right all the way to the end of the light on the left. The individual sections of the lights cannot be controlled independently within each light, too. Overall, for the price, it works and does what it says it does. I still recommend the lights but suggest you have the right expectations for them.

I have used this for over a year. It runs for 8 hours per day. I have had no problems with it and I use it with DMX.
