Q: is the height of the backrest (minus the seat) about 20.6 inches or is it longer due to the angle? That seems like a midback instead of a highback. tnx

  • A: I'm 6'0 and the top of the seat back reaches my neck. It's a low seat about 16" above the ground. It's fine independently, but juxtaposed to most normal furniture it looks a little small. (I bought this with the same brand dining chairs, and the chairs sit a good 4-5" higher.

    Great Couch

    So far so good… The couch arrived one week ago and was super easy to assemble. The dark grey (which is what I bought) almost looks like a deep olive green and changes to a charcoal color when you rub the velvet. I love the look. Great buy and price… no issues with shipping either.

    Poor quality

    Within 24 hours of having this couch the seams started ripping apart. The only reason we kept it was because we needed cheap seating in our upstairs living area after we got our puppy and couldn't bring her in our main basement living area while we were potty training. Also returning it would have been more trouble than it was worth.

    Bought this to work from home. Assembly is simple except for two of the bolts in back that take some time adjusting to fit into the pre-drilled holes (was assembling by myself). It is very comfortable, comfortable enough for my little one to nap on. All in all very pleased with this purchase.

    Do not buy this I put it together on Friday it is now 4 days later sat on just a couple of times and has three rips at the seams between the buttons and coming apart at about 3 more seams terrible quality

    Looks great, good build quality, medium comfort

    Construction quality seems to be on par with other Christopher Knight but this one was easier to assemble because the legs screw into place instead of having to be bolted into place from the side of the legs. Only thing I didn't like was the angle of the seat is a bit flat and the fabric is slipper so if I'm wearing clothes I start sliding down after a few minutes and have to keep sitting up. Definitely a short term sitting chair or decorative focus.
