NOT a replacr

I was under the impression that a USB 3 A-B cable was compatible with a USB 2 A-B cable, just upgraded to handle faster data flow. However it uses a different connector. The cable is good quality, but unfortunately was not useable by me. The photo shows the connector but I wasn't expecting an incompatibility so I didn't notice it.

Still Great After All These Years

I've been a fan of Monoprice cables & gear for as long as I can remember. The USB 3 cables I just got are perfect as my XLR mic/dmx cables, speakon cables, miscellaneous hookup cables & audio adapters have been. Oh yeah all the HDMI cables are excellent too, especially the 2 100 foot fiber optic HDMI cables.

Does exactly what it says it will. Works perfectly, and is flexible enough to route it where I need it, thus helping to reduce the clutter of cables on my desk.
